Chapter 77 - Sealing Thor's Powers

As Thor heard the voices of the others, his fighting spirit grew even stronger.

Listen, you are a God-King no less than Odin, and I, too, am considered half a God-King.

The only difference between me and Odin is that the coronation ceremony was not successfully completed. Otherwise, he would be a complete God King right now.

Loki couldn't bear to watch anymore and quietly muttered, "Idiot."

He then found a spot and sat down.

"Thor! What are you doing?"

Just as Thor struck a pose, Odin's angry voice sounded from nearby.

Thor looked up, and saw that Odin was right above him.

He immediately grinned foolishly. "Father, I just wanted to ask Uncle for some guidance, after all, this is Asgard."

In Asgard, strength is respected. Only powerful warriors can earn the respect and adoration of Asgardians.

It was precisely through his joy in battle, his fearless charge, and his great strength that Thor conquered every Asgardian.

Although everyone had heard that Aaron was comparable to Odin, that was too abstract. They could not understand how anyone could compare to their most beloved King.

That was All-Father Odin!

It was unrealistic for Odin to challenge Aaron. The outcome, whether victory or defeat, would be inappropriate.

But if Thor could challenge Aaron, then everyone would know that the one they were about to welcome would be an All-Father even stronger than Thor.

Odin gazed deeply at Thor, feeling somewhat lost in thought.

He wasn't sure if Thor had considered this deeper meaning, or if he simply wanted to fight.

He hoped it was the former, but looking at that silly smile, forget it.

Looking on the bright side, at least Thor's genes were good, and his grandson might still have great hope of taking on the heavy responsibility of Asgard.

Next, Odin looked at Aaron, seeking his opinion. If Aaron did not agree, he would have reason to stop the battle.

Aaron nodded slightly, "Thor, are you sure you want to challenge me?"

Thor nodded. "Of course."

"Any power can be used?"

Thor raised his head and puffed out his chest. "Only the one who survives until the end on the battlefield is the victor."

Aaron nodded.

Golden light surged from his right hand, and a vast Divine Power oppressed the entire training ground.

That was the power belonging to the King of Asgard, the purest Origin Divine Power of Asgard.

Aaron mobilized the Divine Might of the Asgard Domain. At this moment, he was the Dominator of this world.

Thor sensed that something was wrong, he was far too familiar with this feeling.

He recalled the moment he was banished by Odin the day before yesterday.

He looked at Odin, who was staring at Aaron in astonishment.

No way?!

Is this happening a second time?

"Thor, in the name of the Lord of Asgard, I declare that I am taking back your abilities."

Aaron gently clapped his hands through the air. Golden light burst forth, enveloping the stunned Thor and instantly sealing away his power, which he had only just managed to recover.

"Uncle, quickly take back your Divine Ability."

Thor wanted to cry but had no tears. Having his abilities sealed twice in three days!

Why are you God Kings the only ones who show off so much?

Take me with you! I want to show off with you too!

Loki's mouth dropped open, and the banquet hall fell silent.

Looking at Aaron, who had sealed Thor's abilities without breaking a sweat...

At this moment, there was no need to speak of who was stronger or weaker.

Thor and Aaron were never on the same level from the start.

How should one put it? It felt like a father hitting his son.

Even if the father was twenty-two years old, and the son was fifteen hundred years old.

"You lost."

Aaron instantly flashed next to Thor and patted him on the shoulder.

Thor recovered his senses, feeling as if he had suffered a heavy blow.

He thought this would be an evenly matched contest between a Dragon and a tiger.

However, Aaron was indeed the Dragon, while he was just a small orange kitten with the character 'King' drawn on its head.

Under Aaron's Dragon Might, he couldn't do anything but meow, meow, meow.

Odin took a deep breath, dissatisfied with Thor's performance, yet startled by the proficiency with which Aaron wielded Kingly authority.

In that instant, he felt that Aaron was another version of himself.

Sure enough, he was definitely the son of Bor.

"Alright, everyone continue training."

Odin dismissed the crowd and walked side-by-side with Aaron toward Odin's Vault.

Thor followed behind, looking utterly devastated, while Loki walked with a smile on his lips.

Today's dose of happiness was secured.

Aaron and Odin chatted casually. They didn't talk about anything serious, just whether Aaron needed a temporary palace. Odin could immediately dispatch the best architects and workers to design a Royal Palace for Aaron.

Of course, there was also a place for Aaron within the Royal Palace of Valaskjalf. He was welcome to move in at any time.

He also asked if Aaron needed a few maidservants to attend to him.

Light Elves, Vanir, Asgardians, and others were all options to consider.

If his tastes were unique, Frost Giant or Fire Giants were not out of the question.

Dwarves were also completely okay.

Naturally, if Aaron was still not satisfied, he could also go to the Collector and purchase a few suitable maidservants.

Given Asgard's status, the Collector definitely wouldn't refuse.

In response, Aaron thought, 'Are you testing a comrade with this? My education forbids me from being so corrupt.'

Aaron replied, "How about two of each?"

He had no other intentions. Since he was usually on Earth, he needed maidservants here to handle the daily cleaning. He would not refuse Odin's kindness.

Odin's Vault.

"This is the Eternal Flame, a malicious fire filled with endless energy that can resurrect beings from the underworld."

"It was originally the source of power for Surtur, the King of Fire Demons and ruler of Muspelheim. Relying on the Eternal Flame and the Twilight Sword, Surtur constantly coveted Asgard."

"Thousands of years ago, I took his Eternal Flame, which allowed me to defeat him and ensure the Fire Demons dared not step into Asgard for millennia."

Odin recounted the situation at the time to Aaron with emotion.

Clearly, the Fire Demons were a respectable and terrifying opponent. Even the current Odin felt lingering fear when recalling the battle.

If he hadn't managed to take the Eternal Flame, Surtur in his prime would not have been defeated so easily.

"Father, I will definitely defeat that King of Fire Demons just like you."

Thor was boiling with excitement, eager to immediately grab his axe and meet the Fire Demons' King, whom even Odin praised.

He yearned to conquer the Nine Realms like his father, using his great renown to awe the Nine Realms.

But before that, he needed to do one thing—defeat Aaron.

He must be able to defeat Aaron before he had the ability to conquer the Nine Realms one by one.

After all, what he needed to do was surpass his father, and Aaron was equivalent to the young Odin.

Thor secretly made up his mind, completely unaware of how unattainable the goal he had set was.

After hearing this, Odin really wanted to slap Thor. "Thor, to become a qualified King, mere bravery is not enough. You must understand benevolence."

"There is a saying in Midgard: 'There is always someone better.' One day you will understand how small the world before your eyes is, and that even we, as Gods, still have things we cannot achieve."

For example... saying goodbye to death.

Thor didn't take it seriously. He admitted Aaron was strong, but he felt that if he just worked a little harder, he could defeat Aaron.

After all, he was the son of Odin, and an excellent successor to Odin.

Seeing Thor's behaviour, Odin sighed inwardly.
