Chapter 76 - Building Momentum For Aaron

Aaron suddenly asked, "Once we visit Odin's Vault, are there other arrangements?"

Loki was startled, subconsciously wanting to ask: How did you know?

"Father said he prepared a formal outfit for you to wear at tomorrow's feast—a powerful suit of armor forged by the Dwarf King Eitri and personally enchanted by father. It shines golden all over and looks incredibly mighty."

"Moreover, it can expand or shrink, withstand your Divine Power, and automatically equip itself according to your will."

There was something Loki hadn't mentioned: this gear was originally made for Thor's coronation.

However, Thor never got to wear it, and without even knowing, it had already become Aaron's property.

My foolish brother, you have been NTRed again.

Loki laughed secretly in his heart, his face calm.

'As expected. Odin had perfectly arranged all of my time from now until the start of tomorrow's feast.' Aaron thought.

Halfway there, he saw Thor waiting for them.

Was he worried I would run away halfway?

"Hey, Aaron, Loki!" Thor was waving frantically from a distance.

Aaron, sharp-eyed, spotted an axe behind him.

Stormbreaker?

No, that's not right.

Stormbreaker's handle is Groot's arm, a special type of wood, but this axe was equipment made of Uru.

"Look at my new partner."

"Ta-da! A shining axe. I call it the Axe of Thor."

Aaron took a look and wondered if it was his imagination, but he found that this thing seemed to be no different from Volstagg's axe. If there was a difference, it was just that the magic on it was more abundant.

Odin personally enchanted this axe, making it considerably stronger than the usual equipment of an Asgardian.

But... let alone comparing it to stormbreaker, it couldn't even compare to mjolnir.

Seriously, has the great Thor fallen to such a state? That's too humiliating.

Aren't there any other Divine Artifacts? Oh, they're all with me? Never mind then.

Aaron glanced at it and withdrew his gaze. He didn't think much of it.

With his vision, he had already analyzed which magic spells had been added to the axe. He could easily forge an identical axe without needing the Primordial Furnace at all.

Loki was so envious he didn't know what to say.

Everyone is showing off, so why was he the only one being beaten down?

"Thor, you've obtained a new weapon. I am truly happy for you." Loki offered his insincere congratulations.

Then he quietly looked at Aaron, his expression seeming to say: My dear uncle, when are you going to take his axe too? Your nephew Loki begs you.

Aaron noticed Loki's peculiar gaze but ignored him.

If it were anyone else, he would worry if the person was gay, but he didn't need to worry about Loki.

Even if he was gay, he was only Thor's exclusive princess.

Seeing that neither Aaron nor Loki seemed interested, Thor immediately lost enthusiasm. "Fine, I know this thing can't compare to mjolnir, but it can still allow me to exert my power."

"And judging by father's words, he wants me to make do with it temporarily so that I can transition better later."

What?!

Loki's eyes widened and he kept winking at Aaron.

Listen, there's something better.

A better axe.

Aren't you going to ask? I'm getting anxious just listening to you.

Loki subtly tried to inquire about the whereabouts of the other axe for Aaron, but when Thor spoke of it, he was confused.

He confirmed it existed when asked, but knew nothing more when pressed.

Loki was panicking for Thor. Why didn't he ask anything? Why did he know nothing?

Loki was numb and completely gave up.

I, Loki, have already gotten used to being ignored. After all, I'm the outsider, and you are the family.

Thor eagerly chatted with Aaron.

When they passed a training ground, Thor boldly challenged Aaron.

"Uncle, although I lost my hammer, I have a new axe, and I feel filled with power."

"Come on, let's have a duel worthy of real men."

Thor raised his axe, wreathed in lightning. He was also the God of Thunder, possessing the power to control the weather.

The power Aaron displayed in the small town in New Mexico had astonished Thor, but it still hadn't dampened his fighting spirit.

He wanted to see the exact difference between himself and Aaron.

Thor's challenging voice spread throughout the entire training ground.

The warriors who were undergoing their daily training looked over in astonishment.

"Is that the new God the All-Father spoke of, the son of Bor who is about to return home, the All-Father's brother? I don't know if he's strong, but he certainly is handsome."

"Did you hear? This God named Aaron has awakened the power of the God King flowing in the royal bloodline, allowing him to directly communicate with the might of all Asgard."

"Doesn't that mean he is the same as the All-Father? I heard he is only twenty-two years old. I think when I was that age, I couldn't even handle a stick properly."

"I also heard that he can bestow Divine Power upon others, and can summon the Bifrost Bridge directly without a medium. Even the All-Father admitted that Aaron is no longer weaker than him."

"Ah? Doesn't that mean Asgard now has two All-Fathers? A dual monarchy?"

"It's two and a half. There's also the eldest prince Thor. If it weren't for those damned Frost Giants..."

Aaron glanced sideways, wondering which "Wise" King was so well-informed.

He knew without thinking that Odin must have tacitly approved it, or even spread the news himself.

Building momentum for him?

No, he was intimidating the Nine Realms.

The aging Odin was at the peak of his Divine Power. But precisely because of this, he couldn't generate enough deterrence toward the Nine Realms.

The simple-minded Thor and the weak, lying Loki were both insufficient to stabilize the situation. Only Aaron, who was young yet no weaker than Odin, was the best candidate.

Furthermore, Aaron just happened to possess the same Kingly authority as Odin.

With the powerful combination of both, it is no exaggeration to say that Aaron is the most potent and powerful Asgardian since the founding of Asgard.

Even if Aaron is not an Asgardian, Odin will find a way to make this a reality.

Even if Aaron doesn't admit it later, others, seeing his proficient kingly Divine Power, will seriously consider whether they have the ability to challenge the "Odin" of his peak period.

The key point is, Aaron is only twenty-two years old.

According to the lifespan of the Asgardian Race, he can maintain peace in Asgard for nearly five thousand years. By that time, Thor's children will surely have grown up.

As for Thor?

Odin seriously considered raising a new heir.

Thor's talent is above his own but for a thousand years, his body has grown, yet his mind hasn't grown at all.
