Chapter 3 - Chapter 2: The AU's meeting with the Alepou

Inside the reception area, the atmosphere was a mixture of curiosity and barely contained tension. Around a coffee table, Aizawa and Nezu sat on a sofa, each reflecting a distinct expression in response to the situation.

Aizawa watched Lefki with a raised eyebrow; Lefki was resting comfortably in an armchair to his right. The boy was sitting on Talia's lap, who was absentmindedly playing with her hair while he calmly sipped a strawberry milkshake with a pile of banana-flavored gummies.

In contrast, Nezu's gaze remained fixed on the two people sitting opposite them in the other armchair, assessing them with his characteristic keen interest.

The first was a young woman of about 1.75 meters, with fine, elegant features that betrayed her English origins. Her blonde hair, as bright as gold, fell naturally over her shoulders, framing a fair complexion and honey-colored eyes. She wore a red suit, complete with matching heels and gloves, and her bearing was impeccable: straight back, one leg crossed over the other, and an air of refined confidence as she held a teacup. She observed Nezu with a polite smile, though a glint in her eye revealed she was assessing the UA principal.

The second was a young man of about 1.70 meters, with tanned skin and black eyes that reflected a tense calm. His black hair and Vietnamese features contrasted sharply with his companion's presence. He wore a simple black suit with brown boots and sat serenely, his serious expression fixed on the two UA representatives.

–It's a pleasure to welcome you, Mr. Nezu, Mr. Aizawa – said Camie, dressed in an impeccable black dress and matching heels, as she and Saiko served a cup of chamomile tea to Nezu and a black coffee to Aizawa – Here are your drinks. I hope you enjoy them.

– Good – interjected the girl named Olivia, breaking the silence with a calm and gentle tone of voice – I think it's time to stop waiting. I'd like to hear about the arrangements you've made for our family, considering our special circumstances.

– The procedures we had to establish for your family, Miss Olivia, were quite extensive – said Nezu with a broad smile – First of all, we don't usually accept so many students by recommendation; normally, we only accept two per class. However, your case was so unique that we couldn't refuse to make an exception.

– We decided to place all the Alepou in the same class – Nezu continued, as Lefki tilted his head with interest – You twenty-nine members of the Alepou family will be joining Class 1-B this year. In total, there will be forty-nine students in Class 1-B this year.

– Wouldn't that create some difficulties? – Lefki asked, tilting his head to one side with childlike curiosity – I mean, your teachers usually focus on groups of twenty students, and expanding the class size so much could affect the quality of education for each of you.

– That was already taken into consideration, young Lefki – Nezu replied calmly – But I can assure you that at U.A., an increase in students isn't seen as an obstacle, but rather as proof of growth for our institution. Besides, the teacher in charge of this class is delighted to have you among his students.

– I'm glad my family is seen more as a challenge than a difficulty – Lefki said with a bright smile – Please continue.

– We need you, with your special bond, to learn to interact with your classmates naturally – Aizawa interjected suddenly, his tone weary – In academic situations, we won't force you to work with other students, but we will arrange for you to share with someone outside your family, at least during heroic exercises, whenever the situation allows.

– Furthermore, in both the academic and heroic spheres, each of you will be considered an individual student – Aizawa added, concluding his remarks – Therefore, the recklessness of one will not affect the others. Even so, we will have certain special considerations due to your unique circumstances.

– For the moment, all the arrangements seem quite calm and expected – Quang commented serenely, analyzing the situation – I suppose there's some additional point that creates a special condition."

– You're correct – Nezu replied with visible enthusiasm – This arrangement was made to avoid any potential shortcomings in the instruction of your classmates. With such a large group, we know that personalized training might be limited, so we planned for you to function as a sort of assistant to the teacher.

– We know that each member of the Alepou is a specialist in their field, in the control of their Quirk, and in combat – Nezu continued, clearly excited – That's why we expect that after a few weeks of classes, you can participate in certain exercises to assist the teacher in training your classmates We're even considering the possibility that, in the future, each of you could take a student under your direct tutelage, but this is still under evaluation.

– Wow, that's an interesting arrangement you've come up with, Director Nezu – Olivia remarked calmly with a small smile – Are these all the arrangements you've made for our family?

– Indeed, Miss Olivia – Nezu replied politely – Would you like to add anything else?

– Well, as you may have noticed on your way here, we lead a rather lavish lifestyle – Olivia said calmly – Therefore, we would like to request some accommodations at U.A. for our family.

– Although I haven't had the pleasure of seeing the mansion's servants – she continued in the same calm tone – because almost all of them are currently on the family grounds preparing for a special event. Our request is that we be allowed to have some of our servants accompany us to U.A., especially for security reasons and to provide special care for my brother.

– I would like to know exactly how many there would be and how their presence might affect U.A – Nezu replied, curious, while Aizawa frowned slightly at the request.

– We only need a small transport team to take us to UA – Quang explained calmly – We're not asking for much: just a space on campus where the cars can be parked. The drivers, just two of them, will remain there.

– Then there's the security team, a small group of six people – Olivia added – They can also stay in the parking area, watching over the vehicles. However, we'd like at least two of them to accompany us inside U.A.

– As for Lefki's care, only Saiko and Camie will be there – Olivia continued, gesturing to the two young women who were quietly reading on a sofa in the corner of the lounge – They'll only be responsible for staying close to him."

– The security and transportation team isn't a problem – Nezu replied, somewhat impressed by the organization – We can allocate them a suitable space, and having two security personnel accompany them inside the grounds is a reasonable arrangement.

– The two young ladies assigned to Lefki are unusual – Nezu added, observing the situation with interest – May I ask the specific reason?

– My brother must be treated as a unique individual – Quang replied with unwavering seriousness – Failure to do so could provoke overreactions from others, especially under certain circumstances.

– I understand – Nezu said after a brief pause, immediately grasping the implication of the comment – As long as your presence doesn't interfere with Lefki's learning process or that of the other students, you'll be allowed to accompany him. If that's your only request, then I think there's nothing more to discuss.

– In that case, if you would be so kind, allow Saiko to guide you back to the exit – Talia interjected, giving the two U.A. representatives an icy look, while continuing to play with Lefki's hair with meticulous care – Saiko, if you would be so kind.

– Right away, Miss Talia – Saiko replied, setting the book she was holding aside – If you would be so kind as to follow me, I'll escort you back to the car.

After their departure, the room was once again filled with the original five presences, enveloped in a comfortable silence, until it was broken by Lefki's lively, childlike voice.

– Well, since this is over, I want to go play video games – Lefki said lazily, stretching as he stood up – Shall we go, Talia?

– Let Camie go with you this time – Talia replied suddenly, with a kind smile as she gently lowered him from her lap – I'm going to stay here for a moment and talk to Olivia and Quang about something I need to take care of. I'll catch up with you in a few minutes, okay?

– I understand, I'm sure it'll be boring – Lefki replied, showing no interest whatsoever in the conversation his siblings were planning – In that case, let's go, Camie. See you later, Olivia, Quang, take care.

Lefki left the room, gently pulling Camie's hand, who followed him with a serene expression. Olivia and Quang waved goodbye with polite smiles, watching as the door closed behind the young man. As soon as the sound of the door closing echoed in the room, the atmosphere shifted completely: the apparent warmth gave way to a quiet seriousness, the kind of atmosphere that precedes an important conversation between siblings.

– Alright – Talia said, elegantly crossing her legs and offering a slight smile – let's talk then about our little 'arrangement' at U.A. for Lefki – Her tone remained calm, but an icy determination shone in her eyes – It's time to start the preparations with the others.
