"What is going on here?" Leon asked, his voice calm but vibrating with an authority that made everyone instinctively take a step back.
The silence in the studio was absolute.
The air seemed to thin out as Leon's presence filled the room, his sharp eyes darting from Julian's aggressive stance to my flushed face and Chris's protective posture.
The flowers in his hand looked beautiful, but the look on his face was anything but soft.
"I asked a question," Leon repeated, his voice turning low and dangerous, the kind that silenced boardrooms. "Why was there shouting, and why can't anyone answer?" His gaze shifted to Evans.
Evans exhaled slowly. "That's exactly what I was asking them."
Julian's bravado vanished instantly. He turned a sickly shade of pale, his mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. "M-Mr. President," he stammered, frantically trying to fix his hair. "It was just... a misunderstanding. Beck was being unprofessional, and I was trying to—"
