"Let's do it!" She said. "We can take it all!" She said. "Come on! Let's go right now! Who can stop us?!" She said. But motivational platitudes can only get you so far when a giant swarm of metal electric fish are flying towards me! Seriously Lilith comes to me on the boat crying about going back to the original plan and now all hells broken out! What the hell is going on?! Weird coral and monsters start coming out of the ocean, some of the humans have been choking on the air and the literal sky is turning pink!!! Lancelot yelled at me after Lilith fled the scene about Haruo being a traitor. Not that I believed it until that giant monster showed up and kicked everyone's asses. To be fair I wanted to get his side of the story but I can't think of one that would justify the END OF HUMANITY!!! And now we're at war with the ranger force and seemingly every Kaiju on the planet! Oh and because today couldn't get any more normal, the direct of the ranger force is attacking our fleet by turning into a swarm of metal fish! Because of course! Lancelot and Satoshi have already disappeared so I have to fight her apparently! I can see Lilith floating in the distance with some winged woman, I've got to get over there!
"Give it all!" A harmonious hum comes from the fish. Every part of the ship it touches in its charge seems to turn into even more fish connected in that web of lightning. I leap through the air with my bubbles to avoid the fate of the crew.
"What the hell do you think your doing?!" I drop several ship sized fireballs onto the metal mass, but if it was damaged I didn't notice. So then… aha! There it is! I feel the strain in my tails as I combine my flames and bubbles for an explosion that sends me flying down. Switching again despite the pain I cover my limbs in amour. One final switch to my electric tail lets me more or less handle the lightning conducting throughout the monster as I crash into it. I try and reach that glowing blue heart but I get blown back by colossal power in less than a second. I can already feel my electric tail overloading when I crash into another ship. At this point she's becoming more a thunderstorm of knives instead of a living creature. The tornado of metal is expanding at a rapid rate, absorbing everything from weeping to living beings. "Damn…" the longer this goes on, the harder it will be to get to her heart, what kind of power lets someone do this kind of thing?
"Oh hey your not dead." A board voice comes from over the rails of the boat I'm on. I look up to see the last person I'd expect. "Yo." The woman waves. I saw her on the train back when Haruo was shot. Lilith called her 'stupid reptile'. I instantly make my way up there to crush her head, we can't afford her being here if she's like the director. She easily dodges all my attacks and instantly gets me into an armlock with skill I would never have expected. "Ok so that was stupid. But you don't exactly need to be smart to make this work." I summon an ice spike that she has to release me to dodge. When I'm about to go back on the attack she places her hands up in surrender. I stop for a second, why would she do that. "Truce?" She places her hands over each other to make a makeshift T.
"What the hell?" Does she really think we can be buddies after everything?!
"Look, we both need that woman gone. She's trying to kill you, and she's the hero I like the least." Hero? How full of herself can this girl be? She gives me a look of vulnerable before raising a single finger. "One minute. One minute to take her down and we can go back to killing each other. That's all the time we need. What to you say?" Of course the beauty of the question is that it's not really a question. If I could do it myself she wouldn't be suggesting this. So I just turn around and get ready to attack. I'm sure she's smirking with satisfaction. I focus everything I have on my tails, willing every bit of power I have. The tissue and cells all merge together to form a single large white tail. I can already feel my brain overheating from processing so much at once, but it's just for a minute. We leap off the vessel, almost destroying it in the process. The swarm detects us almost immediately, sending huge chunks of its own mass to intercept its enemies. I grab the stupid reptile by her wrist and throw her in front. Her more durable body takes the hit for me instead. She gives me an indignat look before seemingly summoning multiple tornadoes with a few gestures from her hand. They collide with the metal storm, slowly pulling away precious metal to defend herself with. We both punch away lightning bolts as we get closer, searching frantically for the heart. And with my senses sharper than ever, I find her easily. Hiding amongst all that she's stolen, the material and more importantly the lives floats a blue jewel. I race up, the air as solid as bricks to walk upon at this point. Time stands still when I grab hold of it. It's releases such a massive level of energy into me that I can't believe I'm still alive. It would vaporise most others. But I don't even bother screaming, I just look down at this blue heart like it's the most boring thing in the world, and maybe it is. Havent we all had enough weapons at this point?
