Chapter 1 - STRONGEST LORD SYSTEM

Wearing a luxurious silk robe, Allen, whose face was slightly pale, sat in a carriage. The carriage was spacious enough, and soft cushions were laid inside.

Outside the carriage, twenty strong warriors walked alongside it. They were tall and robust, wearing fine leather armor and carrying swords.

At the very front of the carriage was a Knight in Knight armor, riding a warhorse.

Behind the carriage were four or five supply carriages, laden with various goods: food, clothing, daily necessities, and so on.

Surrounding them was a small entourage consisting of maids and male servants, led by an impeccably dressed old butler.

"After all, I'm leaving the home I've lived in for sixteen years. I wonder what kind of territory Earl will give me."

Allen's slightly youthful face showed a hint of helplessness and self-mockery.

Sixteen years ago, he transmigrated to this world and became the second son of the current patriarch of the Thorn Flower Family, Thorn Flower Earl Albert.

This was a world of swords and magic, where nobles could cultivate Battle Qi and magic, becoming powerful existences beyond mortals.

Powerful and cool Knights, mysterious and splendid Mages.

These professions were what Allen longed for the most.

Unfortunately, as the second son of an Earl, he possessed decent Battle Qi manuals, sufficient financial resources to support his cultivation, and even a father who was an eighth-level Knight as his instructor.

However, after cultivating Battle Qi for ten years, Allen still only had a faint trace of introductory Battle Qi.

As a child of a large family, Allen's aptitude could be described as incredibly poor.

Everyone even thought that a good-for-nothing like Allen would probably never become a Knight in his lifetime, unable to charge into battle or achieve great deeds.

Thorn Flower Earl Albert even sought out a noble Mage, hoping Allen might possess magic talent.

The result was obvious: Allen had no magic talent whatsoever.

A noble son who couldn't become a Knight or a Mage, Allen stopped being nurtured by the family after he turned ten.

Now, at sixteen, he had come of age and was directly enfeoffed by Thorn Flower Earl, becoming a vassal Baron of Thorn Flower Earl. His territory was located at the very edge of the Earl Territory, called Rose Town.

Hopefully, it's a good place.

Allen sighed, a little worried about his future.

Clearly, Earl had completely given up on him and sent him away.

Ever since his mother passed away, Earl had grown increasingly displeased with him.

Allen thought to himself.

The entourage had traveled for most of the day. They were expected to reach his territory by noon tomorrow.

Time passed quickly. Under the protection of a powerful Knight and twenty brave warriors, Allen smoothly arrived at his territory.

He was quickly disappointed.

As the territory on the outermost edge of the Earl Territory, Rose Town was clearly not as beautiful as its name suggested.

It was surrounded by mountains on three sides, and the only side without a large mountain faced the largest inland sea in the entire Duchy.

The only road in and out of Rose Town was the rugged mountain path Allen had taken to get there.

And the people here were all sallow and emaciated, dressed in tattered clothes, curiously gazing at the luxurious carriage adorned with the Thorn Flower Family crest.

They knew that their Lord was sitting inside.

"Oh, Allen, look at this impoverished place, there's nothing here. Damn it, can anyone really live here?"

The financial officer, Sparrow, rode his horse to Allen's carriage window and complained.

This middle-aged financial officer with a small mustache was the assistant Thorn Flower Earl Albert had assigned to Allen, but now the financial officer's expression was not very good.

Along the way, he had seen many barren fields, muddy paths, sallow commoners, and the poverty of this place.

This made him extremely dissatisfied. There was no opportunity to get rich here; he even suspected he might starve to death.

He didn't need to say it; Allen also understood the seriousness of the situation. He had originally thought that Earl would at least give him a decent fief, allowing him to live a stable and prosperous life.

He hadn't expected Rose Town to be such a poor place.

Soon, the carriage arrived at the Lord's residence in Rose Town, a dilapidated two-story small castle.

"Damn it, what was the previous Lord here doing! Can such a dilapidated place really be inhabited?"

The old butler, Edward, also looked displeased. Unlike Sparrow, who was forced to follow Allen, Edward had voluntarily requested to come here with Allen.

Edward was the butler who had previously served Allen's mother; one could say he watched Allen grow up.

He was extremely loyal and caring towards Allen.

"Never mind, Grandpa Edward, it's good enough to have a place to stay. Let the servants clean up here and move everything in. I hope it doesn't rain soon, otherwise, I don't know how many places here will leak."

Allen said with a wry smile.

Edward sighed, looking kindly at the handsome young man before him: "Alright, Baron, I'll go give the orders now."

Soon, under Butler Edward's instructions and guidance, over twenty servants quickly cleaned the castle and moved the supplies given by Earl into it.

Two hours later, the castle was barely tidied up. Besides the reception hall on the first floor, there was only the kitchen and dining room at the back.

The second floor contained various rooms, a study, and so on.

After a busy afternoon, everyone was tired. Allen had dinner prepared.

The lavish dinner barely lifted Allen's spirits. After the servants prepared hot water, Allen took a comfortable hot bath after dinner.

After his bath, Allen didn't immediately go to sleep but stared at a slightly peculiar jade-like stone in front of him.

"Lord, this was found in the storeroom. Also, please don't stay in the study for too long."

Edward said.

Allen nodded slightly: "Okay, I know. I'll read for a bit and then go to sleep."

Edward bowed slightly and slowly left the study.

Once he had left, Allen picked up the strange stone.

"Jade? Or a magic material?"

Allen mumbled to himself, and as he spoke, his finger gently touched the stone.

Immediately, Allen felt as if a powerful suction force suddenly appeared in his body, directly drawing away some kind of power contained within the stone.

At the same time, a voice appeared in his mind.

"Ding! Dragon Power detected, activating Strongest Lord System, starting system binding!"

"Ding! System binding successful! Activating Legendarycreature species, Dragon species!"

"Ding! Congratulations Host, system rewards one Dragon Egg!"

"Ding! Starting mission issuance!"

Allen felt a blur before his eyes, and soon a light blue interface appeared in front of him.

Host: Allen

Level: 0

Territory: Rose Town

Population: 846 people

Experience: 0 / 100

Mission: Inspect the territory!

Reward: 100 experience points, one Rose Spirit.

The light blue interface was extremely concise but instantly made Allen excited.

System!

It's actually a System! He had transmigrated for sixteen years, had his golden finger finally arrived?

Allen's expression was joyful.

He took a deep breath, suppressing his excitement, and then looked down at the blue Dragon Egg on his desk, which was as big as a washbasin and covered in Dragon scales.

This… this is a Dragon's egg.

Even though Allen's strength was incredibly weak, he could still feel the vigorous life force within this blue Dragon Egg.

"I can actually own a Dragon!"

Allen could hardly believe it; his excitement surged again at this moment.

Dragons are the most supreme and noble creatures on the entire continent!

Throughout the continent, for any country to be established, the first condition was to have a Dragon Knight guarding it.

Dragon Knight, as the name suggests, only a strong individual who has established a contract with a Dragon can become a Dragon Knight.
