Bulma and Dr. Brief's discussion about the future grew increasingly intense.
Brief even expressed a desire to personally visit other planets.
Vegeta didn't object—if true interstellar development was to begin, his father-in-law's expertise would be indispensable.
Taking him to Vegeta 79 later wouldn't be a problem.
But at that very moment Vegeta sensed a familiar aura.
It carried strength. And it was unmistakable.
"Whose aura is this…?"
Surprise flickered across his face, followed by shock—then understanding.
Nappa.
Recalling the content of the first wish—
Resurrect all lives on Earth that died because of Vegeta and Nappa.
At first glance, there seemed to be no issue.
But there was one critical loophole.
Nappa had died by Vegeta's own hand.
And because Nappa himself had caused deaths on Earth, he also qualified under the wish's condition.
"…So that's how it is," Vegeta murmured.
"What's wrong?" Bulma asked immediately, noticing the change in his expression.
She understood Vegeta well now. If he reacted like this, something unexpected had definitely happened.
Vegeta chuckled lightly and explained that he hadn't fully considered the wording of the wish—and that Nappa had been resurrected as a result.
Bulma instantly grasped the situation.
She hadn't personally witnessed Nappa's brutality, but she remembered the global broadcast before the invasion.
His terrifying figure had been shown across Earth.
Later, she learned that Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, and even Piccolo had all died at Nappa's hands.
"So… what are you going to do about him?" Bulma asked cautiously.
"Kill him again?"
"We'll see," Vegeta replied calmly, a faint smile in his eyes.
"If he knows his place, he lives. If not—I'll kill him."
There was no hesitation in his voice.
Vegeta hadn't expected Nappa's resurrection, but he was curious.
In the memories of the original Vegeta, Nappa had been loyal—obedient to the end.
The reason Vegeta killed him back then was simple: Nappa had become a burden, and Vegeta didn't want to share the Dragon Balls.
Bulma seemed to see through Vegeta's thoughts and didn't stop him.
She trusted his judgment.
After all, Vegeta had already made it clear—Earth was no longer a battlefield.
He intended to settle here.
No one would be allowed to wreak havoc on this planet again.
Gizard Wasteland
The battlefield of months ago.
A desolate, forgotten land.
At this moment, a towering figure stood amid the ruins, his emotions surging violently.
Nappa.
Just moments ago, he had still been suffering in Hell.
After his death, he hadn't gone anywhere pleasant.
Once Frieza and King Cold arrived in the Other World, Nappa became their outlet for rage.
Beaten. Humiliated. Crushed.
All because Vegeta killed them.
As Vegeta's former subordinate and fellow Saiyan, Nappa bore the consequences.
Those days were filled with despair.
Eventually, he even abandoned his hatred, hoping—like Raditz—to reform and earn reincarnation.
But half a year in Hell taught him one thing:
Life at the bottom was unbearable.
Even when alive, being a low-ranking Saiyan was better than this.
At first, he believed Vegeta would soon join him in Hell—killed by Goku, mocked as a fallen prince.
But Vegeta never came.
Neither did Goku.
Later, Cui arrived.
Then Dodoria.
Then Zarbon.
Each encounter ended in violence.
Finally—
Frieza.
And King Cold.
Nappa was broken.
Then—
He was alive again.
Standing under Earth's sky, feeling warmth, breathing air—
Resurrection.
Something he had never dared to imagine.
As his mind raced, Nappa pieced together a twisted explanation.
Vegeta resurrected me.
The conclusion formed instantly.
"Of course…!" Nappa clenched his fists, eyes blazing.
"The Prince killed me to intimidate Kakarot—then awakened as a Super Saiyan! Now that all enemies are gone, he fulfilled his promise and brought me back!"
"He never abandoned me…!"
His logic was flawed—but absolute.
Feeling the power flowing through his body, Nappa roared.
"My strength increased?! Even if I fight Kakarot again, I won't lose—HAHAHA!"
After calming himself, Nappa scanned the land.
"If the Prince revived me, he'll come find me. Until then, I'll show my worth—Earth still isn't conquered!"
He rose into the air—
And never realized that everything he said and did was already being observed.
Vegeta Appears
"Hey."
A calm voice echoed behind him.
"Nappa. Where do you think you're going?"
Nappa froze.
He spun around.
"P–Prince?!"
Joy exploded across his face.
"You're already on Earth?!"
Vegeta studied him quietly.
Loyal.
Blindly loyal.
So loyal that killing him again almost felt… wrong.
Nappa's strength had increased—but only to around 10,000.
In this era?
That was nothing.
Still, if he was to be kept—
He would need hellish training.
Vegeta motioned for him to come down.
Nappa obeyed immediately, recounting his suffering in Hell with enthusiasm.
For a moment, Vegeta even felt the urge to go back and beat Frieza and King Cold again.
Only for a moment.
"The times have changed," Vegeta said calmly.
"We're not invaders anymore. Saiyans are nearly extinct. You need to adapt."
Nappa nodded seriously.
"King! You're right! You plan to rebuild the Saiyan race with Earth women, right?!"
Vegeta nearly choked.
"…Control yourself."
"Huh? Not killing all the men first?" Nappa asked innocently.
Vegeta pinched the bridge of his nose.
This idiot…
Before he could respond—
A murky, distorted aura appeared nearby.
Vegeta's instincts screamed.
"Show yourself!" he barked.
From behind shattered rubble—
A green, grotesque figure emerged.
Cell.
Vegeta's pupils shrank.
So it's you…
Nappa scoffed, cracking his knuckles.
"A hiding rat? You're looking for death."
Cell, meanwhile, was ecstatic.
In his eyes—
Nappa and Vegeta were perfect nourishment.
He had mistaken the era completely.
And that mistake sealed his fate.
Vegeta saw through him instantly.
Ginyu-level trash.
[You won't grow in this timeline. Not while I exist.]
Vegeta had already decided.
This was no crisis.
This was a harvest.
