Chapter 11 - 03: Is this really happening (4/4)

He joked, nudging Giyuu's side gently.

Giyuu swatted Sanemi's hand away playfully, continuing to read. "Number two: Use 'I' statements instead of accusations. Sanemi, try saying 'I feel angry when you interrupt me' instead of 'You're such an ass.'" He suggested with a smirk of his own. Sanemi groaned dramatically, flopping back onto the bed.

"Ugh, fine. But only because I'm trying to be better. And you're annoying when you're right."

He looked up at Giyuu with mock annoyance.* *Giyuu chuckled and lay down beside him, still holding the phone.

"You're so cute when you pout."

He said teasingly, knowing it would rile Sanemi up. Sanemi's face turned slightly red at the compliment, and he turned away.

"Shut up. I'm not cute."

He mumbled, but there was no real anger in his voice. Giyuu set the phone down and propped himself up on his elbow, looking at Sanemi's flushed face with amusement.

"Yes you are. And you're blushing now too."

He reached out to poke Sanemi's cheek. Sanemi swatted Giyuu's hand away again, his blush deepening.

"Stop distracting me with your stupid compliments and keep reading!"

He grumbled, though he secretly liked the attention. Giyuu laughed and picked up the phone again, returning to the article.

"Okay, okay. Next tip is about setting boundaries." He glanced at Sanemi, curious about his reaction to that one. Sanemi's expression became serious as he processed the word 'boundaries'.

"Boundaries... that's probably a good idea. I need to learn where yours are."

He said quietly, his voice lacking its usual sharpness. Giyuu nodded, appreciating Sanemi's willingness to take it seriously.

"We both do. I know I tend to be too pushy sometimes, and you... well, you're always running away." He said gently, referring to Sanemi's habit of avoiding confrontation. Sanemi sighed and sat up, crossing his legs.

"I'm working on that. It's just hard for me to stay in one place and talk about feelings."

He admitted, looking down at his hands again. Giyuu sat up as well, placing a reassuring hand on Sanemi's knee.

"I know it is. But you're doing better than you think. You're here now, talking to me." He gave Sanemi an encouraging smile. Sanemi looked up at Giyuu, his eyes meeting his.

"Yeah... I guess you're right. Again." He placed his hand over Giyuu's, squeezing it lightly.

"Maybe we should start with some simple boundaries. Like... no more midnight gaming sessions when I have to wake up early."

Giyuu chuckled and intertwined their fingers.

"Deal. And I'll try not to nag you about it so much. But I reserve the right to kick your ass if you break it." He joked, referring to their usual gaming competitions. Sanemi smirked, feeling more comfortable with their new agreement.

"Bring it on. You know I'll still beat you even if I'm sleep-deprived."

He leaned closer to Giyuu, their faces inches apart.

Giyuu's heart skipped a beat at their proximity, his free hand moving to cup Sanemi's cheek. "We'll see about that. But first, we should probably get some sleep." He whispered, his thumb gently stroking Sanemi's skin. Sanemi's breath hitched slightly at the touch, and he leaned into Giyuu's hand.

"Yeah... sleep. But maybe we can talk more about this tomorrow?" He whispered back, his eyes darting to Giyuu's lips for a moment. Giyuu noticed the glance and smiled softly, his own gaze lingering on Sanemi's lips.

"Of course. We have all the time in the world now." He whispered, his thumb tracing Sanemi's bottom lip.

Sanemi shivered at the touch, his eyes fluttering closed for a moment before he opened them again, filled with a mix of desire and uncertainty.

"Giyuu..." He breathed out, his voice barely audible as he moved even closer. Giyuu pulled Sanemi closer, their foreheads touching now.

"Shh... just relax." He murmured, his hand sliding to the back of Sanemi's neck, fingers playing with his hair.

Sanemi let out a shaky breath, his hands gripping Giyuu's shirt as he fought the urge to kiss him right then and there. "I'm trying, but you're making it hard."

He admitted, his voice laced with need. Giyuu chuckled again, his lips hovering just millimeters away from Sanemi's."That's the point, Sanemi."

He teased, finally closing the distance and capturing Sanemi's lips in a soft kiss. Sanemi responded eagerly, taking control of the kiss and pushing Giyuu back onto the bed.

He straddled Giyuu's hips, pinning him down as he deepened the kiss, his hands roaming under Giyuu's shirt. "Isn't it to fast?" Sanemi paused, pulling back slightly to look at Giyuu with concern in his eyes.

"Too fast? Do you want me to stop?"

He asked, his hands still on Giyuu's stomach but no longer moving. "Just a bit...making out?" Sanemi nodded, understanding.

"Right. Just making out." He resumed kissing Giyuu, this time slower and more gentle, his lips moving against Giyuu's with less urgency. Sanemi's kisses were filled with tenderness now, his fingers tracing patterns on Giyuu's skin as he explored his mouth. He broke the kiss again to whisper against Giyuu's lips.

"You taste good." Giyuu smiled at the compliment, his hands sliding up Sanemi's thighs. "So do you."

He replied, tilting his head to expose his neck to Sanemi. Sanemi took the hint and started trailing kisses down Giyuu's jawline and neck, nipping and sucking at the sensitive spots.

"Mmm... I could get addicted to this." He murmured between kisses, his voice husky with lust. Giyuu let out a soft moan, his fingers digging into Sanemi's thighs as he felt his neck being marked.

"Sanemi... we really should stop before we get carried away."

He said breathlessly, though his body betrayed his words by arching into Sanemi's touch. Sanemi reluctantly pulled away again, panting slightly as he looked at the hickeys he left on Giyuu's neck. "You're right. I just... I want you so bad." He confessed, his eyes dark with desire and need. Giyuu sat up, pulling Sanemi into a hug to calm him down. "I want you too, but we need to take it slow. We just started this relationship, and I don't want to rush into anything that might ruin it."

He said, stroking Sanemi's back soothingly. Sanemi buried his face in Giyuu's shoulder, nodding against him. "I know, I know... You're right about everything. I just can't help it when I'm with you."

He admitted, his voice muffled by Giyuu's shirt. Giyuu kissed the top of Sanemi's head and held him closer. "Let's just cuddle for now. We can pick up where we left off later, when we're both ready."

He suggested, lying back down and pulling Sanemi with him. Sanemi snuggled into Giyuu's chest, wrapping his arms around him tightly. "Cuddling sounds perfect. You're so warm."

He mumbled, feeling content in Giyuu's embrace despite his earlier frustration. Giyuu chuckled softly, running his fingers through Sanemi's hair as he held him protectively.

"You're like a little heater."

He teased, pressing another kiss to Sanemi's forehead.

Sanemi huffed playfully, but smiled against Giyuu's chest. "Hey, I'm not little. I'm taller than you." He retorted, nuzzling closer and intertwining their legs together. "Two inches. You are just two inches taller than me." Sanemi smirked, lifting his head to look at Giyuu with a smug expression.

"Two inches is still taller. Plus, I'm broader."

He flexed his muscles jokingly, trying to make a point. Giyuu rolled his eyes at Sanemi's show-off behavior. "Yeah, yeah. Mr. Strong Man."

He teased back, poking Sanemi's side playfully.
