Fang Raon's eyes were blank and lifeless—he wasn't moving—but then he blinked once and twice.
"Haah…"
He let out a long breath, and then he opened his eyes, but his eyes seemed unfamiliar and distant, as if it had been a long time since he had seen the world.
"Dear?"
Evelyn whispered with hope.
"…You are?"
Rickard asked with a frown.
He didn't recognize her, and he didn't quite understand why she was calling him "dear" when he hadn't seen her ever before.
"It's me… Evelyn!"
She said with a smile.
"Evelyn… My Evelyn?"
Rickard asked in shock, and Evelyn smiled with tears flowing down her eyes, and she nodded with a teary look.
She might look different, but there was no way he wouldn't be able to recognize his wife's manner of speech.
They slowly approached each other and hugged each other tightly—they seemed like they were almost melting into each other's arms—a very lovely moment.
"Dear…"
"Evelyn…"
