Evelin's POV
Jimmy and I had made love once in the bathroom and several more times in bed.
If I hadn't insisted we needed sleep, he probably would've kept going until dawn broke.
His hunger for me seemed endless.
Some time passed, and then came the day of Dalia and Claire's trial. Since I was the victim, I had to give testimony in court.
Standing outside the courthouse, I caught sight of Grey.
His arm was bound in a sling. The moment he spotted Jimmy and me, something flickered across his face.
"Evelin, can't you just drop the charges against my mom and Claire?" Grey burst out.
My face turned to ice. "They never considered showing me mercy. Why should I show them any?"
"But my mom's getting old. Prison would kill her. And if Claire gets locked up, her whole life is ruined!" Grey pleaded desperately.
"Take that up with the judge, not me," I cut him off cold.
"Is this because you still hate me?" Grey pressed.
