Evelin's POV
I froze for a moment.
No more entanglement? So Jimmy really intends to let go of our relationship? I wondered.
"How long do you plan to keep me on this island?" I asked.
His gaze settled on my left shoulder. "Judging by how fast you're healing, it should take a while for your injury to improve. So I'm keeping you here until then. All the medicine you need is here with you."
I took a moment to think. With all the preparations Jimmy had made, it was obvious he wasn't about to make it easy for me to leave.
If we kept fighting each other, we'd only end up dragging ourselves down.
"Alright, just don't go back on your word this time!" I said.
"Of course," Jimmy replied.
I pulled out my phone, which had been off this whole time.
I turned it on and was immediately hit with tons of missed calls and voicemails.
Most of them were from Selina and Allen.
