Jimmy's POV
This wasn't the supply helicopter I'd arranged for.
Who the hell was piloting that aircraft?
The realization hit me like a punch to the gut. I bolted downstairs, racing toward the landing zone.
Behind me, I caught Evelin's sharp intake of breath. The confusion written across my face must have made it clear—this helicopter's arrival was completely unplanned.
I could sense her following me down the stairs, her footsteps echoing mine.
I burst through the villa's entrance and locked onto the helicopter that had just touched down. When I saw the figure climbing out, my blood turned to ice. Every muscle in my body went rigid.
Jensen.
My father.
I couldn't process what I was seeing.
"Surprised to see your old man?" Jensen flashed that familiar predatory grin.
My expression hardened. "So you actually escaped."
"Wasn't a walk in the park," he said, rolling his shoulders casually.
