"Wait, I'm not even done yet," Selina protested, staring down at her barely touched drink.
Rey snatched the glass from her hands and knocked back what was left in one smooth gulp. "Now you're done," he declared.
Selina blinked in confusion, still processing what just happened when Rey grabbed her arm and steered her toward the exit.
The moment they stepped outside the private room, Selina found herself face-to-face with Rey's crew.
Millie's eyes burned with contempt as she looked Selina up and down. "I can't believe you'd go behind Rey's back and hire male escorts. If I were his girlfriend, I'd never stoop to chasing random men."
Selina shot her a withering glare. She recognized this woman—they'd crossed paths at some dinner Rey had dragged her to before.
Millie's crush on Rey was painfully obvious.
Even with Rey's grip on her arm making her look rattled, Selina straightened her spine defiantly. "Too bad you're not his girlfriend. I am!"
