Claire went rigid, clearly caught off guard that the Elysia family consisted of steadfast patriots.
"So what if your entire family are devoted heroes? That doesn't give you the right to make me apologize!" Claire snapped back, thrashing and shouting.
"Doesn't it?" My voice turned arctic. "After spouting such vile words, naturally I can force you to confess your wrongs before God."
The moment those words left my lips, I pressed Claire's head down with firm determination.
Despite Claire's fierce resistance, my hold remained ironclad, compelling her to apologize to the divine against every fiber of her being.
I kept Claire pinned to the ground for what felt like an eternity.
"Release me!" Claire shrieked while writhing frantically, her voice shaking with fury and shock.
Dalia attempted to charge forward and free Claire from my grasp, but Selina stood like an immovable barrier.
