Claire froze completely.
I could see the shock on Claire's face as she processed the information. She was clearly wondering how the person she considered worthless could be so capable.
"That's a lie!" Claire refused to accept it.
"Just ask Grey. He's aware of it as well!"
Selina smirked coldly.
Claire turned toward Grey. I could see from her expression that she finally understood Selina's claims were accurate when she saw his wordless demeanor.
While Claire reeled from learning about my academic background, what shocked the crowd more was that I had only requested 500 thousand dollars in the divorce.
Earlier, Grey hadn't disclosed the specific figure, so everyone had assumed I would extract a massive settlement from the divorce.
Those who had initially branded me as money-hungry now felt I'd been wronged.
In theory, I could have demanded at least half of Grey's assets.
