Chapter 33 - The Inhuman Race

Xiao Han's gaze fell on the distant gray-white sphere, and the corner of his mouth lifted slightly.

"Tony, want to take a look at the moon?"

Tony, who had been admiring the curve of the Earth, curled his lip. "The moon? What's so special about a big barren rock? I've seen it a thousand times in NASA images."

"Photos can't show everything."Xiao Han gave a mysterious smile and lifted his hand, drawing a golden arc in the air.

A portal slowly unfolded, and on the other side appeared the rugged ringed craters on the far side of the moon.

"Wait—this is…" Tony's eyes widened. "You can do cross-planet teleportation now?"

"A small trick." Xiao Han made a beckoning gesture. "Coming?"

Tony's armor thrusters adjusted his posture slightly. "You said it yourself! If you send me somewhere weird, Pepper's gonna lose her mind."

The two stepped through the portal one after another, arriving instantly on the moon's surface.

Tony's armor automatically adjusted gravity control and life-support. He carefully stepped onto the lunar soil, leaving a crisp footprint.

"Wow…" Tony stared at his own mark. "Feels like Armstrong."

Xiao Han hovered a few centimeters above the ground, eyes scanning the terrain.

"What are you looking for?" Tony asked curiously.

"A hidden city."Golden light flickered faintly in Xiao Han's eyes as his super vision pierced through the lunar crust, searching for abnormal energy waves.

"A city? On the moon?" Tony snorted. "Unless it's aliens… wait, don't tell me—"

Xiao Han suddenly raised his hand. Another portal expanded—but this time the other side was not the barren moon surface, but a massive dome city radiating futuristic brilliance!

"Holy shit!" Tony's breath hitched. "Impossible! How could something like this exist on the far side of the moon—"

"Welcome to Attilan."Xiao Han flew in first."The capital of the Inhumans."

Tony hesitated for a second, then gritted his teeth and followed. "Jarvis, record everything!"

The moment he crossed the portal, Tony's field of vision exploded open.

Towering spires shone beneath a light-blue energy dome. Suspended vehicles glided gracefully across the air.

Humanoid figures walked along the streets—some indistinguishable from humans, others with scales, wings, or various mutated features.

"This… this…"Tony's helmet opened, revealing a face frozen in shock.

"This violates every known physical law! How could our satellites not detect something this big?!"

"Magic shielding mixed with Kree Empire technology," Xiao Han explained. "The Inhumans have lived here for centuries."

Just then, a squad of silver-armored guards surrounded them, energy weapons glowing with dangerous light.

"Intruders! Drop your weapons!"The lead guard barked, a glowing crystal embedded in his forehead.

Tony instinctively lifted his repulsor palm. "Jarvis, analyze their weapons!"

"Unknown energy signatures, sir. Caution is advised."

But Xiao Han simply looked at them calmly. "We mean no harm. We only wish to speak with your king."

The guards glanced at each other, clearly surprised that he spoke their language.

Suddenly, the crowd parted.A man in a black, ornate robe and a red-haired woman approached.

The man's eyes glowed an unnatural blue, a faint energy field rippling around him.

"I am Black Bolt. This is my wife, Medusa. For certain reasons, she will be my voice."The man spoke through sign language, and the woman translated softly beside him.

"Why did you trespass into Attilan?"

Xiao Han inclined his head. "Honored to meet you, Black Bolt. I am Xiao Han, and this is Tony Stark. We come from Earth, seeking contact with the Inhuman race."

Black Bolt's gaze lingered on the two of them, especially taking a few extra glances at Xiao Han's armor.

"Earthlings have developed to this extent?" Medusa translated.

"Uh, actually most earthlings still have no idea there's a city on the far side of the moon," Tony commented. "Honestly, I just learned that myself."

Black Bolt's expression grew stern. He signed a few quick gestures—Medusa translated immediately:

"Follow me. This is not a place for discussion."

He turned toward the central palace. The guards motioned for the two to follow.

Tony leaned closer to Xiao Han and whispered, "You knew there was an alien city up here? Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"A surprise." Xiao Han chuckled. "Besides, some things are more impactful when you see them yourself, don't you think?"

Tony rolled his eyes. "My worldview just took a direct hit. I'm gonna need a whole bottle of whiskey later."

The palace interior was even grander than the exterior—ancient motifs perfectly blended with futuristic technology.

"Welcome, visitors from Earth," Medusa said with a smile.

"To break through our barrier, you two are far from ordinary."

Tony couldn't help staring at her hair. "Whoa, your hairstyle is amazing. How does it move like that?"

Medusa smiled faintly. "An Inhuman gift."

Xiao Han went straight to the point. "We came to discuss the possibility of cooperation between the Inhumans and Earth."

Black Bolt and Medusa exchanged a look.

"We live in seclusion precisely because we do not want to be involved in Earth's conflicts," Medusa said.

"But Earth's crisis could affect the moon as well." Xiao Han's voice was calm. "The Kree Empire is already taking action. They're interested in the Tesseract."

At the word "Kree," Black Bolt's body noticeably tightened.

Medusa's expression grew heavy. "You know of the Kree?"

"Just finished driving off a scout ship," Tony said proudly. "Though Xiao handled it by himself."

Black Bolt suddenly stood, walked up to Xiao Han, and studied him closely.

After a moment, he signed:"You're not an ordinary human."

Xiao Han nodded. "You can call me… Superman."

"Superman?" Medusa raised a brow. "Quite a bold title."

"Well-deserved," Tony added. "This guy can tear ships apart with his bare hands."

Black Bolt pondered for a moment, then raised a hand signaling the guards to withdraw.

"We need to talk."His expression was extremely serious.

"About the Kree Empire, about the future of the Inhumans… and about the fate of Earth."

Xiao Han smiled. "That's exactly why we're here."

Their discussion lasted for several hours.

Tony wandered like a kid in a candy store, marveling at Inhuman technology—especially their Terrigen Mist systems.

Meanwhile, Xiao Han and Black Bolt reached a preliminary cooperation agreement: should Earth face a major threat, both sides would support each other, while gradually promoting exchange.

Though Xiao Han felt Earth didn't need much help as long as he was around, having one more ally was always better than one more enemy.

When they were preparing to leave, Medusa handed Xiao Han a crystal.

"This is a communicator. Use it to contact us when needed."

Xiao Han accepted it with a nod.

Tony, meanwhile, stared longingly at the floating vehicles. "Next time, can I bring some research equipment? Your anti-gravity tech is insane…"

Medusa chuckled. "Perhaps, Mr. Stark."

Just before stepping into the return portal, Tony suddenly asked:

"Wait—uh… do you guys have WiFi?"

Black Bolt and Medusa both looked utterly confused.

"Never mind. Forget I asked." Tony rubbed his nose awkwardly.

Once they returned to the lunar surface, Tony was still dazed.

"I can't believe it… a super-civilization hidden on the far side of the moon! All our astronomers should be fired!"

Xiao Han looked at him with amusement. "Magic shielding and advanced tech. Your telescopes never stood a chance."

"This makes zero scientific sense!" Tony flailed his arms. "A city that big! That many people! What do they eat? Drink? Where's the oxygen coming from?!"

"Kree tech solves all of that," Xiao Han said. "The Inhumans were an early genetic experiment by the Kree Empire."

Tony halted abruptly. "Hold on—you're saying… those people were genetically modified by aliens?"

"Something like that."

"Wow…" Tony let out a whistle. "This beats every classified S.H.I.E.L.D. file I've ever seen."

Xiao Han lifted his hand and opened the portal back to Earth. "Ready for more surprises? The universe is far bigger than you think."

Tony took a deep breath and stepped through."I suddenly feel like my armor needs a LOT of upgrades."

Their figures vanished from the lunar surface, leaving behind two rows of footprints lying quietly on the silent moon dust.
