Jasmin's POV
Of all the moments for my heat to strike, it had to be now, standing before the Alpha who had always looked at me like I was something forbidden, something he wanted to claim and devour completely.
His eyes consumed me, his wolf blazing through those dark depths, ravenous and untamed as he drank in the sight of my damp shirt molded to my body, revealing every curve, every line that made his jaw clench with barely restrained hunger.
Without warning, he dropped to his knees before me, close enough that his intoxicating scent filled my lungs, raw and utterly masculine. His voice emerged as a rough whisper against my ear. "You smell incredible, Jasmin." His fingers traced my burning cheek, the contact like fire against my skin. "So perfect I want to devour every inch of you."
