Thomas now stood as a golden knight, towering hundreds of feet high shield in one hand, mighty sword in the other, flames swirling around him like a living aura.Lucifer the dragon roared.The world watched, hopeful and terrified. Humans. Demons. Survivors.The divine audience in the sky.Even they were shocked by the power of these two titans.Asad stood from his seat and screamed:"THOMAS! FINISH IT!!!"Thomas charged each step shaking the earth.Lucifer screamed" Truly One of us will be the GOD OF THIS WORLD!!!"The dragon flew forward, breathing fire.Thomas raised his shield blocking the inferno then swung his sword.The dragon twisted in the air, avoiding the blow.Edwin watched from below, guarding Light."It's all up to you, Thomas…"The dragon whipped its tail smashing the knight and sending him stumbling. Thomas ignored the pain slammed the dragon with his shield then swung his sword, now engulfed in fire, slashing the dragon's body.The dragon roared tackled the knight knocking the shield loose.Thomas fell on his back.He kicked upward a mighty blow lifting the dragon off the ground.The knight swung again but the dragon flew up, huffing a massive wave of fire.Thomas grabbed his shield just in time blocking the flames.The dragon dove headbutting the knight's shield knocking him backward.Then the dragon's tail smashed the knight's head.Thomas dropped the shield grabbed the dragon's tail and threw the dragon across the battlefield, causing earthquakes with each impact.The dragon huffed more fire forcing Thomas to release it.Thomas grabbed his sword reached upward but the dragon was too high.Thomas screamed:"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"The blade extended, stretching hundreds of feet stabbing the dragon.Lucifer screamed in pain.The dragon grabbed the blade then blasted a fireball at close range.Thomas felt every bit of the flame but he screamed:"I WON'T LOSE!!!"The knight grabbed the dragon's arm pulling it close but the dragon's tail knocked the sword away.Thomas delivered two massive punches to the dragon's mouth cracking bone making it falter.The dragon slashed the knight's face then wrapped its tail around the knight's neck, choking him.Thomas felt the pain felt himself fading Lucifer smiling inside the dragon. But Thomas grabbed the sword and cut the dragon's tail off.Lucifer spat blood.Thomas gasped for breath.The dragon lunged driving its body into the knight's chest knocking Thomas down.Thomas spat blood but grabbed the dragon in a bear hug squeezing with all his strength.The dragon blasted a fireball point‑blank burning Thomas's face, neck, and armor.Thomas refused to fall.He headbutted the dragon breaking its jaw.Lucifer's face was covered in blood.He was breathing hard.Thomas's blood dripped from his mouth.Burn marks covered his neck and cheek.He was panting barely standing.Thomas rushed again.Lucifer screamed:"YOU DON'T STOP, DO YOU!!!"He tried to breathe fire but Thomas reached him first grabbed the dragon's mouth and closed it shut, forcing the fire to burn inside the dragon.Lucifer screamed in agony.The dragon stabbed the knight claws penetrating the armor grabbing Thomas's organs through the aura.Thomas dropped to a knee screaming.Then Light burned, poisoned, barely alive appeared behind the dragon and slammed an elbow into its skull.The dragon released Thomas.Knight and dragon stood face‑to‑face.Thomas and Lucifer both exhausted. Both bleeding.Both broken.The world held its breath.Edwin watched."They're equal… but whoever has more heart will win."Thomas couldn't feel half his body.He thought:Now or never.The knight charged.Lucifer screamed:"YOU NEVER LEARN!!!"He unleashed the biggest breath of fire yet a flame‑thrower of hell.Thomas covered his face feeling every bit of the flame burning, blistering, tearing through him.The dragon kept breathing endless fire.Thomas took a step forward.Then another.Then another.He screamed pain and determination mixing:"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"He swung the blade cutting through the flames the sword extending penetrating the dragon's body and Lucifer's body inside it.The dragon stopped breathing fire.It froze.The sword was buried deep in Lucifer's chest.Thomas twisted the blade.Lucifer's eyes widened blood pouring from his mouth.The dragon's aura faded dissolving like sand in the wind.The sword remained in Lucifer's body.Lucifer hung there no aura just flesh.He looked at Thomas.Thomas gave a small smile.Then he collapsed.The golden knight faded away.Both bodies fell crashing into the ground.Lucifer landed on his back.Thomas on his stomach.Lucifer couldn't move.He spat blood.He looked at Thomas assuming he was unconscious or dead.Then Lucifer looked at the sky.And thought:It doesn't matter… humanity has won…
