The moon was shading its beautiful moonlight as I was training rigrously for the Royal army recruitment exam.
I've always wanted to be a warrior, and this exam does turn your dreams into reality. It only happens once in three years and after the selection you join the army of this country, under the king.
The exam is going to happen soon, and I can't slack off now.
"Eshan, You are still training?" Said a girl who was running towards me.
It's my childhood friend, Natasha. She walked towards me through the green and beautiful terrain. Wet grass was reflecting moonlight and it all looked so mesmerizing. Now she stood in front of me.
"It is too late, and you are still training" she said.
"Well yeah, because the exam is near and I have to train" I said.
I looked at her face and into her hazel green eyes and I said "If I clear this exam?"
"What?" She asked.
"Nothing" I said. What was I even thinking?
"You should go home now, it is too late for a girl" I told her. "Shut up! What is your problem?" She said.
I guess she didn't like it.
"I am leaving, keep training all you want" she said with an angered face and left.
It is hard to deal with this girl. I ruffled my hairs and looked at her going back, I wonder that Can this be the case that she likes me? No, no, that is not the case definitely. But if it is I would be happy.
I looked around and found that it was really late, I moved towards my house slowly and steadily, down the hill, beneath the foot of the mountains.
