Chapter 4 - Act one - Not mine

*SMACK*

As if I was moving, my body was suddenly forced still.

I slowly swung back and forth, hanging high above the three or four people and their dogs below.

-where... where am I...

My face grew hot, because of the blood that was rushing to it. I looked down to see the sky, and then it hit me...

"Holy shit! I'm NAKED!" my cold, shriveled shrimp was exposed to the crowd below, looking up to see the bird who just screamed 'holy shit, i'm naked!'

Then it hit me, "Holy shit! You're flying!" the crazy buff and honestly, crazy hot, naked man was pulling up my ankle in both of his hands.

His skin struggled to hold his massive muscles, his veins bulged with every heart beat, "awesome! Hey, you better not drop," then it hit me,

"HOLY SHIT! I'M FLYING!!!" My body fell an inch, my heart, the other 3,000 feet to the floor.

My body froze up with fear.

"Could'ya please stop..." The angel's eyes tightly clamped together, his wings swung wildly, "It's just, ya'know, it was hard enough getting you up there when you couldn't talk," both of our bodies were drenched in water, "and when you weren't... so slippery..."

"k" my words barely sneaked out of my mouth, I tightly shut my eyes.

I slowly felt my body rise up into the clouds, a little higher, and then a little higher.

The trip lasted a whole five minutes, an excruciating five minutes.

"*Huff huff* that *huff puff* was *puff puff*" my words stuck to the back of my throat, to squeamish to come out, "exhausting..."

*Huff huff puff puff*

Although I hadn't done any work, I was equally as exhausted as he was.

*puff huff huff puff*

We both fought for our breath.

"What *huff huff* did you *huff puff* eat, fatty..."

His body rested on the clouds, his body wet with sweat and condensation, he smelt like shit.

"Sh- shut *puff* up, ass *huff* hole..."

The only reason I know is because I'm forced to rest on his naked body.

-This place looks nothing like that other place...

We were tucked in a cave between many other clouds, more like a ledge, really.

Grey and white swirls surrounded us, to our left, around five feet or so, there was a cliff that, if I had to guess, dropped down to the earth.

Bits of sun occasionally peeked through our roof, but most of the time, the light reflected off clouds below and came in through the ravine.

Our scenery was constantly shifting around us, stretching and compressing with the wind, but those things stayed consistent.

"That's because *huff* this place isn't heaven" his breathing returned to normal, "heaven's like... way up there" he pointed to the roof, "like... way, way up."

*BOOOM!*

A giant, deafening airplane wing cut the roof above us, slicing through the roof of our cave. His finger now pointed to a sea of clouds high above us that looked like they sat above the sun.

---

*bbrrrrrrrrr....* Evidence of a low flying commercial airplane quietly bled into the room.

"Where the hell is my phone?!" Lady Beatrice stomped into my resting quarters, with her phone dangling in her hand,

"In your hand," honestly, she can be so absent minded sometimes, it makes me wonder how we could be related, "dumb-ass."

As far back as I can recall, she's never really put much effort into the way she presents herself, even now she wears an old pink crop top with grey sweatpants, neither of which had been washed in weeks.

Her blonde hair, long and brimming with potential, was wasted on her, she only ever wore it straight down and only ever accessorized it with her 'lucky' blue, cat charm hair clip. She's short, too, although I'm the younger sister, I have to look down when I'm conversing with her.

Despite her laziness, she does have admittedly adorable natural features and she attracts many suitors, although none have ever succeeded in their attempts to court her,

"No, it isn't," she speaks in her usual warm but somehow commanding tone, "This phone isn't mine."
