The tension between Goku and Frieza could be felt in the very air. Both warriors floated in the sky, facing each other in a deadlock, the wind howling around them. Frieza, with his cruel, confident smirk, and Goku, battered and bruised, but still determined to fight.
Without warning, they rushed at each other, Goku's fist flying toward Frieza's face, but the tyrant ducked under the punch, his movements fluid and quick. In retaliation, Frieza's fist slammed into Goku's liver, the blow making Goku gasp in pain. Before Goku could recover, Frieza struck again, a hammer strike that sent Goku hurtling toward the ground.
But Goku wasn't done. As he crashed into the earth, he planted both hands on the ground, pushing off with incredible speed. He shot up into the air, flipping past Frieza. With a burst of momentum, Goku twisted in the air, his legs driving into Frieza's chest, sending the tyrant flying upward.
Frieza, recovering midair, watched as Goku followed him, appearing above him with a fierce punch. But Goku had miscalculated slightly, and Frieza blocked with his arm, though the force of the blow still cracked through, sending Frieza down to the ground with a loud thud.
Goku landed softly on the ground, his muscles sore but his resolve still intact. He looked up at Frieza, who had a smug smirk on his face, clearly enjoying the fight. Goku gritted his teeth, panting heavily, his eyes focused.
'If Kaioken isn't enough, then I'll have to go further,' Goku thought, determination burning in his chest. He threw back his head and shouted with everything he had left, "Kaioken x2!"
Goku's power skyrocketed, the energy flowing through him like never before. His muscles bulged, and his body seemed to stretch with power. His vines popped as his body expanded, his aura flaring red. His power level shot up to 1,392,000, and he launched himself toward Frieza with an explosive burst of speed.
The two fighters collided once more, their fists meeting in midair, sending shockwaves through the atmosphere. Goku overpowered Frieza, pushing his fist aside and landing a solid blow that sent the tyrant flying.
Goku wasn't finished yet. As Frieza struggled to regain his balance, Goku grabbed his head, thrusting a knee into Frieza's gut, making him gasp for air. Before Frieza could react, Goku backhanded him, sending him crashing into the side of a mountain, the rock crumbling on impact.
Frieza, bloodied but furious, shot up from the rubble. His eyes narrowed as he snarled. "You Saiyan filth... You think you've won?" With a roar of fury, he fired a Death Beam at full power, its purple energy beam racing toward Goku.
Goku quickly charged his kamehameha, gathering as much energy as he could. He aimed it at the incoming Death Beam, waiting until it was almost too late before firing. The two beams clashed, the energy spiraling and twisting as they fought for dominance.
The sky lit up as the two beams struggled. Goku's kamehameha, empowered by his Kaioken x2, began to push Frieza's beam back. Goku's determination kept his beam alive, and it blasted through Frieza's Death Beam, striking Frieza head-on.
Frieza screamed in pain as the blast consumed him, knocking him back into the mountainside, cracking the earth beneath him. He struggled to get up, coughing up blood, his body severely damaged but still standing.
Frieza's anger boiled over as he stared at Goku, panting heavily. "You Saiyan monkeys think you're special... But you're nothing compared to me!" He roared, his body shaking with rage. "I'll show you true power."
Frieza's body began to glow brighter, his second form now too weak to stand up to Goku's newfound strength. "I'll end this now!" he shouted, launching himself toward Goku at incredible speed.
With a fury-filled punch, Frieza landed a devastating blow to Goku's chest, sending him crashing into the ground. The force of the punch caused Goku's Kaioken to deactivate, leaving him battered and unable to move.
As Frieza stood over the injured Goku, Krillin and Gohan rushed to Goku's side, trying to help their friend. Frieza looked down at them with contempt.
"You monkeys put up a good show," Frieza said with a sneer, "but it's over now. You're all beneath me."
That's when Zane, still lazily lounging nearby, finally yawned. Bulma, tugging at his arm, pleaded, "Zane, please. Take care of this. We need you."
Zane sighed deeply, clearly uninterested. Then, the system chimed in:

Zane raised an eyebrow at the system's offer, casually standing up. Bulma smiled, thinking he was doing this for her. Zane stretched, yawning again, then shrugged. "Alright, alright, let's get this over with."
He turned his attention to Frieza, floating lazily in the air. "Hey, midget," he called out. "Your opponent is me now."
Frieza's eyes flashed with rage as he glared at Zane. "What did you just call me?" he asked, his tone sharp.
Zane smirked, bored. "You heard me, midget. Your opponent is me. Now hurry up and transform into your final form already."
Frieza, his expression darkening, asked, "How the hell do you know about that?"
Zane's smirk grew wider. "Doesn't matter, lizard. Transform now, or I'll just kill you."
Frieza laughed, his tone dripping with contempt. "You filth. You think you can kill me? But since you have a death wish, I'll give you the honor of witnessing the final form of Lord Frieza."
With that, Frieza began to charge up, his body surrounded by a blinding purple aura. His form began to shrink and change, his muscles defining as he shifted into his final form.
Zane watched with amusement, his arms crossed. "Holy shit, you're weak," he muttered, clearly unimpressed. "Let me show you true power."
Zane began to charge up, his own golden aura erupting around him. He raised his voice, loud enough for everyone to hear. "Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, listen well, and listen good, 'cause I'm only going to say this once. This is the kind of power you should strive to achieve. This is the kind of power that will take you beyond your limits. I will show you the Legendary Super Saiyan."
Goku, still injured and sitting up, gasped. "Super Saiyan? What's that?"
Vegeta responded, his eyes wide in disbelief. "The Legendary Super Saiyan is a myth. A powerful warrior of pure rage who appears once every one thousand years. But… this can't be… it's impossible!"
Frieza, seeing the golden light around Zane, scoffed. "You think that will stop me? I am Frieza!"
But Zane, with a smirk, ignored Frieza's threats. He let the energy build within him, and soon, his hair turned golden and spiky, his eyes burning with a fiery intensity.
Vegeta's eyes widened in shock. "I-Impossible! How can this be?!"
Frieza, still overconfident, rushed at Zane, sending a barrage of punches. But Zane just stood there, taking every punch. Each one barely moved him, and he didn't flinch. "Is that all you have, Frieza?" Zane said, utterly unimpressed.
Frieza backed off, surprised. "Impossible. How are you withstanding all of this?" He then conjured a fiery orb in his hand, the size of a small sun, his power erupting as he prepared to destroy Zane. "I'll blow you and this planet to bits!"
Frieza hurled the orb at Zane, but as it grew, the land around it was devastated. Zane smirked and said, "I'm gonna borrow your move, Goku."
Zane fired his kamehameha, its intensity and size dwarfing any previous wave. The massive beam collided with Frieza's supernova, engulfing it and disintegrating it in an instant. The kamehameha continued toward Frieza, encapsulating him entirely, and he screamed in agony.
The blast shot off into space, its power rippling outward as the Z-fighters watched in shock.
Zane landed gracefully, his Super Saiyan form flickering for a moment before it returned to normal. Bulma rushed over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Thank you! I knew you weren't heartless! You defeated him because I asked!"
Zane sighed, clearly uninterested. "Yeah, yeah, whatever." He yawned, glancing back at the others.
Then, the system chimed in:

Zane smirked. "Alright, all we have to do now is collect the Dragon Balls. Now that the Frieza thing is taken care of, it should be a lot easier."
