Shahr, sensing my unease broke the kiss immediately and stared into my eyes apologetically.
"I apologise." Face dropped, eyes teary, "I have made a grave mistake, please forgive my impudence. I- I..." Stuttering, "I was so lost that I forgot to take your feelings into account."
I raised my hand and refused him, "No. I didn't mind the k-i-s-s." Hands trembling, breathing heavy, it takes a lot of courage to say that.
Stunned by my actions, "You didn't?" His voice filled with utter happiness, but then his happiness disappeared all of a sudden, and he went into deep thought. Snapping out of it, he asked, "Then, why did you slump?"
His question troubled me, how could I answer this question? How could I tell him that I got jealous and it made me gravely upset? But... If I tell him my problem, then will I be able to ask him who he kissed before?
No, no. What if asking that upsets Shahr? What if the girl is someone I have heard of? What if he liked kissing that girl more than me?
