Chapter 34 - Teacher talking

Even though it was a school holiday, some teachers were on duty. That day, it was the turn of the 12th-grade History Teacher and the Library Teacher. Since there were only two of them, and the students had completed their morning work and returned home, there were no students around. The two teachers sat down and talked about Hana's issue.

"I didn't want to believe that the result would be Hana either!" The Library Teacher, listening, nodded in agreement. "But because it was Hana, everyone and I felt a little relieved." The Library Teacher gestured to the History Teacher to speak more softly and not to be so direct.

It is clear that the two teachers were relieved that Hana was the one accused, implying the real culprit might be someone worse, or that they feared what the true consequences of the threat might have been.

History Teacher asked curiously "Speaking of which, I didn't think the result that 'someone' said everyone would be surprised and satisfied with would be Hana!" Why did that person want the result to be Hana?

"It's lucky that person didn't do anything like the threat to our school. Besides, our school is clean and has nothing to fear from the threat! But prevention is better than cure. Speaking of which, Teacher (teachers often address each other as 'Teacher,' sometimes adding the name), you are lucky that secret person didn't do anything on you that day. Do you remember what that person was like? Can you tell me again?"

The History"Teacher looked left and right. "No one is here. It's 3 PM. You can speak, I'm listening."

"That's right, even talking about it again, I'm truly scared. It was evening, and I forgot a document. Since I was busy with my family, I thought I'd go back and get it after dinner. However, after dinner, my family took the children home first as my request because I wanted them to have time to review lessons and go to bed early. I arrived at school at 8 PM. Not wanting to disturb the security guard, I didn't ask him to turn on the lights, preferring to use my phone light. After I got the document from the teachers' office, as I walked out, someone grabbed me and covered my mouth. I could barely breathe or speak. I couldn't see his face because I couldn't even turn my head. Even if I could turn, I wouldn't have known who it was, because he was dressed completely in black, covering his face. Moreover as all the teachers know from the surveillance footage that day, the cameras couldn't clearly see him."

"That person said that the message he always sent to the Principal was serious. He said he wasn't playing games If something happened in the future and the Principal still pretended not to know, he wouldn't be silent, and this school would be famous again!"

He threatened, 'Famous for its ruined reputation do you want that? Doesn't this school have the 'Gem' that makes the school famous right? Do you want to be famous again with the police coming to investigate or finding something?' I tried to pull his hand away, but his strength was immense. Before leaving, he told me not to forget to inform the Principal, and then he left very quickly. If he could do this, nothing could stop him from avoiding the security guard's notice."

So, that's what happened, and I informed the Principal, as all the teachers know.

The Library Teacher nodded, thinking. "Both the Principal and all the teachers were waiting to see the big incident that person spoke of. And in reality, it was just a broken window, and the most surprising thing was that it was Hana! But even after knowing it was Hana, another letter came to the Principal. The letter said 'don't forget what I told you that is, don't pretend not to know just because she is the school's Gem. 'Choose between the school's Gem and the school's reputation being ruined like some other schools. Which will you choose?'"

"Because the actual result was Hana, we almost didn't believe she would do such a thing, but there was no choice. If we just deducted 20 points and penalized her, there would be no problem, because the evidence showed she was truly at fault."

"But didn't the Principal change his mind and say he wouldn't deduct her points, but instead made her clean the 12th-grade bathroom for a whole year?"

"Huh? Don't joke! He only comforted her because she pleaded so pitifully at the time. But does that person just want to expose and harm Hana? How dare he use the school's name to threaten us like this?"

"Our school is perfect, unlike other schools. Ever since that person threatened us, the Principal understood that he must have the intention to slander our school. Everyone also knows about the news of other schools finding cases of students using drugs. So, that person probably wanted to threaten our school in that way. Therefore, the Principal instructed everyone and the staff to monitor the students, but our students are not like those in other schools. But what gave him the confidence to threaten the school like this?" The Library Teacher nodded, also wondering the same thing.

Seeing that it was time, the two teachers parted ways for their homes.

Meanwhile, at kan's house, she was cooking before going to work. As she sat and ate, she recalled the morning when she told Hana the news that the account had indeed been hacked. But the response she got from Hana was a smile and a hand placed on her shoulder, telling kan to stop worrying the matter had already happened! Even if she had to clean the bathroom for a whole year and lose 20 points, she would accept it. As long as the matter calmed down, she would be at peace, and especially as long as kan trusted her, she didn't need anything else.

"Didn't the teacher decide not to deduct your points?" "That time was because all the teachers were watching, and because I pleaded so much, he compromised and pretended not to deduct the points. But when I felt better and understood, the Principal came in and explained further that he also didn't intend to do that, but what could he do since the evidence showed it? He had no choice. This time, Hana was truly at fault, so he had to deduct the points and only make me clean the bathroom for one month." She managed a beautiful laugh, saying the good news was that she only had to clean the bathroom for one month.

Kan smiled painfully inside. Why did Hana forget her problems so quickly? She asked again, "Does Hana really not want to expose Ree?" she thought Ree must have orchestrated everything. Hana smiled and replied, "Forget it. Consider it a gift he wanted, in the name of a former good junior. But if he has changed, let it be! We know him clearly now. Just remember it and don't worry about his life anymore. Hmm! In short, worrying too much gives me a headache. I prefer to spend time on ourselves." Hearing her say that, kan had no choice but to give up, although she was not entirely at peace. Thinking about the matter again made her sigh once more, feeling very annoyed with Ree.

Then, seeing that it was time for work, she went out. Although it was a school holiday, she worked as usual because she loved money!

When she met Yin and Sister Khai, she knew they were unhappy because of her situation. So, after work that night, she recounted the things she had resolved so they wouldn't worry too much, and she described Hana's thoughts. This made Yin and Sister Khai surprised that there was someone who forgot their problems so quickly! It seems all she needs is friendship. Sister Khai tolds kan, "Cherish that friendship well!" Then they turned and saw Yin nodding in agreement with what she had just said.

Sister Khai suddenly stopped walking, causing the other two to walk past her. They were like twins even when they turned back to her they did so together, when they looked confused they did so together, when they turned to Khai, they did so together and when they asked, they did so together. "Is something wrong, Sister?" They asked because Sister Khai suddenly stopped and rubbed her chin as if thinking of something.

Sister Khai's question stunned both of them. "You two seem to have stopped fighting? And why did Yin ask you first that evening, 'What happened?' Asking like that makes it seem like he knew kan's situation clearly! Are you two dating? Or are you in the same class?"

The two exclaimed a strong rejection simultaneously, then looked at each other and shook their heads, bewildered. How could Sister Khai think they were dating? Yin sighed and lied convincingly: "That day, I was driving and saw kan sitting and crying, so I went in and asked her, and you know she is a leaky mouth who can't keep a secret. And in the evening, when I saw her working as usual, then when we ate together, I asked her!" Sister Khai nodded, raising an eyebrow. Kan smiled in agreement, annoyed at Yin in her heart. The two were also surprised.

As they walked, they eventually separated. Kan accidentally saw the Principal's car quickly drive by. She wondered, Is he going to school at this hour? Then she got onto the bus that had arrived.

The bus happened to stop near the Principal's car because the traffic light turned red. She saw the Principal's car more clearly: there was a woman with long hair and wearing a face mask. The woman in the mask and Likan met eyes. The car window was opened. The woman in the mask seemed to smile with her eyes. Kan smiled back politely, thinking that the woman in the mask was the Principal's daughter.

Suddenly, the woman in the mask leaned towards the Principal, who was driving: "Oh, a student is looking at me! What should I do?" Then she turned back to kan and waved, which made kan smile, wondering, Why is the Principal's daughter so friendly?

The two cars separated. The Principal's car arrived at a quiet area. Looking down, one could see rocks and the seashore. The car stopped with the people sitting in their respective positions. The Principal was driving and remained in his seat. The woman in the mask still sat, crossing her legs, revealing her smooth legs due to her short pants, along with a crop top and a schoolbag. The mask was not cute not ugly or scary, but she liked it.

"Why did you open the window and let that student see you just now?"

"Hey! Do you think it was intentional? It was just a coincidence, don't blame me." "Just be a little careful, because that girl is very nosy and curious." Woman in Mask: "And are you giving me orders?" She leaned over and asked softly. This made her feel that the Principal seemed to want to pull off her mask, but she quickly moved away. She also took out a pen to stab his hand and twist it to make it hurt even more. The Principal was in great pain and apologized, saying he would stop.

Then, she took out a bandage from her bag for the Principal and used a cloth to wipe the blood from her pen. She also said, "If it happens again, don't say I didn't warn you. Use that person's death as an example. You have two choices: reputation or death! So, don't have intentions like you did just now!" She continued to wipe her pen.

"Why did you call me here? What exactly is your plan? The result is what you and that person wanted! And please tell that person to stop sending letters." He spoke softly so it wouldn't sound like an order.

"Oh, is that all? Okay, but that person is not under my command! Anyway, after this incident, he will probably stop playing. But it's okay, I'll tell him. Hmm! The fresh sea breeze is truly refreshing. The matter is closed. But if the teachers are still not at peace and are still very suspicious, I will not be silent." Principal: "Yes!" He replied, relieved that the matter was over, and also slightly scared that it might still get complicated and he would be threatened again.

He asked one more question "Why do you need to cover your face? Since we've been working together, you can see how hard I work. We should trust each other." A laugh rang out! "Oh! You are so funny! I'm laughing so hard right now! Working together? No, you are working for me! Trust each other? What about just now? Before you drove the car, didn't I see you preparing the material to kill me? Thinking again, you dare not? That's right, thinking that way is not wrong. Okay, no need to know. Sometimes, I might call you 'Teacher' every day. Hmm! It's a good farewell because the work is finished. But don't worry, if there is any suspicion, we will meet again."

"This farewell has the fresh sea breeze as a gift. It's a shame I didn't get to taste the floating flavors on the shore below!" She said this while pressing her pen against the Principal's neck. "So, make sure everyone has no suspicion."

They drove back and dropped her off at the bus stop. She walked normally, taking the road without cameras, and complained, "A quiet road like this should have some thugs! It would be better if there were, because I haven't relieved my nerves in over a year and a half." She then sang to herself, "I'm so happy. Is this what high school life is really like?" After a moment, she arrived at her house. The house seemed quiet, no one was home. She was probably alone. Her words just now suggested that she had never experienced high school life!

Why is she so strange? Who is she?
