"Boss are you okay? Did she hurt you ?" Erick asked. He was more of the talkative one,unlike Shaun, just like his boss, he always wore a cold and scary yet handsome face.
"Let's go" Draken simply replied,as they entered the executive elevator straight to the boardroom, he had an important meeting.
In the boardroom ....there was nothing but empty seats and someone familiar already waiting for him, David Hunt, the eldest of the Hunt Brothers.
"How dare you do this Draken! the presidency is legally and rightfully my place, you have no rights to it!" he yelled but Draken saw this coming, he simply sat down and watched him make a fool of himself.
" Dad had promised me the presidency, but you had to ruin everything....the drive you discovered it right?"he added.
"What do you think?" Draken replied.
"That drive had every evidence and files to prove your illegal transactions in the company, its only fair that the chairman finds out about it" he added, his face as calm as his voice.
" This is not over Draken, I'll get my position back and everything you took including Sam, after all, you're just an adopted son and I'm the biological one" David gritted through his teeth.
"I.don't.care, get out of my office" Draken replied caring less about what David had just said, before Shaun dragged him out. It was true that Draken was adopted and David was the real son but Chairman Hunt loved and trusted Draken the most, more than David.
"Erick where's the coffee I asked you for?" Draken suddenly asked.
"Huh!!" Erick was in a daze.
Meanwhile~~
"Yes I'm on my way.I know,I know, yeah!" Emma was on the phone replying to the person on the other line, she was there to deliver coffee from the café where she worked, made by herself to her regular customer who wouldn't go a day without it.
"I'll call you back" she said before she hang up.
"Hi, I'm here to deliver the coffee," Emma said to the secretary standing in front of her.
"Finally ..thank you.." Erick out of nowhere grabbed the small box without taking a close look at her.
"Weird! I'll leave now ma'am thank you" Emma humbly said to the secretary before heading back to the elevator. All this was watched by Draken from his office through the cameras.
"Please carry your umbrellas with you wherever you go. Reports and weather forecasts say it will rain heavily soon,please be warned and stay safe." the news reporter on the small flat screen tv in the elevator said.
"Oh God!I rushed here and forgot my rain jacket and umbrella. I'll definitely get drenched in the rain" Emma thought to herself as she still had another appointment.
Draken stood by the floor to ceiling window in his new lavish office and stared down, that's when he saw Emma hoping onto her bicycle. He remembered their encounter, he still couldn't forget about it. He knew that the cup of coffee he held in his hand that brightened his mood was made by her. He loved it and wouldn't go a single day without taking it.
"Boss, are you sure you want to head out alone, reports said it will rain soon,"Erick said.
"Nevermind,I'll handle by myself," he replied his eyes still fixed down.
"Is the car ready Shaun?" he asked.
"Yes" Shaun replied.
"If I don't be back in six hours, you know what to do"Draken said before heading straight to the underground parking lot where his car was parked and drove off. The card left a trail of what seemed like oil coming from it.
"Sir, the job you asked for is done, I cut the brakes now he'll dieband no one will save him." a man in a black mask reported to his boss on the phone.
"Good, now leave before anyone notices you." the boss on the other line replied. Draken drove his car at an extreme speed not knowing of the danger that awaits him.While trying to dodge an old man with a fruit cart by the road on the hill, his car rolled over and fell into the ocean.To make matters worse,there was an explosion afterwards.An accident had occured.
