Chapter no 1
In the hospital, a newborn baby cried softly as his mother held him close. She looked down at his tiny face and whispered to herself,"Look at you… you look just like your daddy. If your father were alive, he would be so happy to see you. Your eyes… they are just like his."
Tears fell from her eyes."I am so happy to have you, my son… but why? Why this curse in our family? I never asked for anything, God. I just wanted a happy life with my family… but I won't have that time. Why? Why?"
She looked at the baby again."He is so small… he knows nothing. And this is the last time he will ever see his mother…"
The baby opened his eyes and began to cry. The mother hugged him tightly and cried with him."My jaan… my love… don't cry. I'm here with you—just for a little time. You will never see your mother again, but don't cry. If you cry like this… how will your mother find peace?"
As she spoke, the door opened and the doctor entered. His face was serious."I'm sorry. Before the operation, we had only one choice—save you or save your child. We tried our best to save both, but… we could only save your son."
The mother smiled weakly but said nothing. The doctor continued, "You don't have much time left. Please… spend these moments with your baby. No one will disturb you. And… I am truly sorry."
She nodded. "Don't worry. You saved my child, and that is enough for me. My son is more important than my life. This is fate… I accept it. I'm just happy I got to see him."
She kissed her son's forehead. In her heart she whispered,I knew for a long time that I would die soon… but I never thought I would leave my son on the day he was born.
Holding him close, she took off her jade pendant and placed it around the baby's neck."This is yours now," she said softly.
At that moment, time seemed to stop. A red fog filled the room, and from within it, a figure appeared—summoned by the power of the jade pendant.
He had long black hair, dark as night. He wore a black Chinese traditional robe, and on it was embroidered a red dragon. His eyes glowed a deep, dark red.
His name was Longxia.
"Are you sure?" he asked gently.
She nodded. "I'm almost twenty-five now… and you know everything about our family."Turning to her son, she whispered,"My love… live long. Be strong. Your mother won't be here with you, but I will always be by your side."
Longxia bowed his head."From this moment, I am your son's soldier. I will help him in every dark moment and stay by his side—always."
She smiled weakly and lay back on the bed, still holding her baby. she said i want to give you one name your name Ailin. Ailin my love bye. mama love you so much plz live long this is your mother last wish. The heart monitor beside her let out one final beep… and the line went straight.
A single tear slipped from her eye, fell down her cheek, and touched her son's face.
And just as he entered the world…his mother left it.
Then Longxia took the baby with her to a silent house on the gate with some words written on the door. Those words are if your fate here you find the person you lost if you believe in fate. Then he entered the silent house and shut the gate.
He takes very good care of little Ailin. He fed the Ailin when he needed to play with the Ailin but he was always scared and always thought about what would happen when he was 25 years old. I am always by his side. I will protect little Ailin no matter what.
