~Elara's POV
I never imagined the truth would escape my mouth. Not like this. Not in a room where the walls felt like they were breathing with tension and fear. Alpha Rowan and Luna Elena sat stiffly beside Lira's bed, both of them pale, both staring at the girl who was not opening her eyes yet. That girl they thought was their daughter. The girl I switched out of hatred and blind pain.
And me?
I was on the floor. On my knees. Like a sinner begging the universe to take her life back and rewrite every mistake.
My voice trembled as I looked up at them.
"I am… I am sorry. Please. I am begging you. Forgive me."
Alpha Rowan's stare was so sharp that I felt like it cut through my skin. He did not blink. He just breathed, and even that sounded like it was full of anger.
"What. Did. You. Do?" he asked, his voice heavy and deep.
Luna Elena whispered, "No… no, Stella, that cannot be true…"
"It is," I answered. "Elara is your blood. She is your real daughter."
