"Excellent work!" Auguro felt a rush of anticipation.
Just then, Hanatarō Yamada, who was on lookout duty, shouted, "Lord Soul King, a fleet of fifty ships has been sighted ahead! They're flying a pirate flag—they're pirates!"
Auguro frowned. In the East Blue, there was only one pirate crew large enough to command fifty ships!
Auguro stepped onto the deck to look. As expected, it was the Krieg Pirates, the crew claiming to be the strongest in the East Blue! The lead colossal ship was the flagship, the "Dreadnought Battleship Saber." A massive, three-decked pirate vessel with a black panther figurehead and a flag showing a skull flanked by two hourglasses.
Despite the imposing appearance of the fleet, Auguro remained completely unfazed. After all, a pirate crew that would be wiped out by Hawk-Eyes Mihawk just seven days after entering the Grand Line held zero interest for him. As long as they didn't bother him, Auguro was content to ignore them.
Unfortunately, the pirates were not as indifferent as Auguro. The lookout reported the sighting of Auguro's cargo ship to Don Krieg.
Krieg smiled viciously upon hearing the news. "Since it's a cargo ship, we'll grab it on the way! It'll be perfect for training the rookies!"
Krieg was constantly recruiting new members for his push into the Grand Line, and these rookies sorely lacked combat experience.
With an order, the Krieg Pirates collectively changed course and sailed toward Auguro's cargo ship.
Seeing this, Nami was terrified and rushed to speak. "Lord Auguro, we have to leave now! I've heard of the Krieg Pirates—they have five thousand men!"
She knew Auguro and his subordinates were powerful, but she hadn't seen them fight a massive fleet. Two fists couldn't beat four hands, let alone face a massive fleet of five thousand!
Auguro's expression turned cold, showing no intention of evading them. Besides, his small cargo ship couldn't outrun those pirate vessels anyway!
Soon, the small cargo ship was surrounded by a swarm of pirate ships.

On the main mast's bridge, Don Krieg, with his purple hair and cloak, laughed triumphantly. "Not bad! You're smart enough not to run! Here's the deal: hand over all your treasure and belongings, and I, the great Don, will spare your lives!"
While he said the words, anyone who truly believed Krieg would keep his promise was naive. Krieg was the quintessential pirate scum—cunning, treacherous, and utterly despicable. In the original story, he was rescued by the cooks of the Baratie only to immediately try to steal their ship. Trusting his word was as foolish as believing a sow could climb a tree!
Auguro sneered internally. He actually thinks he has me cornered!
Before Auguro could speak, his subordinate Rangiku Matsumoto's face darkened, and she shouted coldly.
"Audacious scoundrel! How dare you speak disrespectfully to the Lord Soul King! Kneel now and beg for forgiveness!"
However, instead of heeding Rangiku Matsumoto's fierce reprimand, Krieg and his men burst into raucous laughter.
"Hahaha! Did you hear that? She called that kid some kind of 'Soul King'! Hahaha! That's hilarious!"
"If he's the Soul King, then I'm the King of the World!"
"Hey there, little lady! You've got a great figure! Why don't you leave that kid and join me? I promise you'll be in ecstasy every day!"
The pirates mocked Auguro in their jeers. Many eyes leered at Rangiku Matsumoto's voluptuous figure, filled with lewd anticipation. For a pirate, stealing money, killing, and taking women was just part of the daily routine!

The pirate hadn't even finished his sentence when a fist slammed into his face, sending him flying instantly.
Auguro stood on the deck of the Dreadnought Battleship Saber, his Soul King's Haori fluttering in the wind, looking both elegant and intimidating. His ice-cold eyes gazed indifferently down at every pirate.
"Your mouth smells that bad? Were you raised on nothing but faeces?"
Krieg's pupils contracted sharply. He hadn't seen how Auguro had gotten onto the deck! This boy was not normal!
However, Krieg's countless minions lacked his discernment. Seeing their comrade being punched unconscious and sent flying, they immediately screamed and charged at Auguro.
"How dare you cause trouble on the Krieg Pirates' ship! I'll chop you into meat paste!"
"A mere child dares to challenge the Krieg Pirates? You clearly don't know the meaning of death!"
Watching Auguro instantly swallowed by the charging crowd, Nami cried out anxiously. "Miss Kuchiki, Miss Matsumoto, aren't you going to help him?"
Rukia Kuchiki's lips curved into a slight smile. "Don't worry! That trash is no match for the Lord Soul King!"
Rangiku Matsumoto's voice was even more reverent. "That is the Lord Soul King, who commands all Soul Reapers and stands at the apex of the world! How could he possibly be defeated by these dirty scoundrels!"
As if to prove their words, a loud thump rang out. Auguro slammed his fist into the pirate at the forefront. The pirate spat out a torrent of blood mixed with large fragments of internal organs!
An invisible energy slowly began to seep out from Auguro's fist.
