In this cursed world, filled with evil spirits, curses, and very few pure and good spirits were left.. the rest however, all killed. Japan, well, not just Japan, but almost all corners of the globe were filled with evil in their streets.
It all started around 2 centuries ago, when the last of the dominant good spirits were extinguished and went extinct. These good spirits were known as the limitless clan. A powerful bloodline of good spirits who possessed both the purple eyes of wisdom and unlimited cleave technique, two of the most feared and broken techniques in all of spirit history. Of course, there were other good spirits to deal with lower energy evil spirits- it's just that these were the strongest ones.
The sheer power of this blood line was unimaginable.. but due to unknown reasons, one day.. the entire blood line was wiped out. Gone, as if it had never existed. Curses appearing and dominating the human race, and for those 2 centuries, curses ruled the world. But due to their own pride, they refused to kill humans and instead keep them as pets in a zoo. There were still humans living in bunkers, in complete secrecy and had yet to be found by the curses.
The leader, also known as the king of the evil spirits, Goen Sukura. Every millennium, he stays dormant for 200 years, sleeping in his devilish realm. As of now, he has gone dormant on 2nd September, 1830.

The balance of the world, the rule of the curses, suddenly felt as if it was turned upside down. One of the doctors marked "This kid.. he possesses unimaginable amounts of spirit energy! But.. how?". Due to the crushing weight of Kuroto Ryuzen's spirit energy.. all curses in the world, though they hadn't known the reason, felt the urge to rush back to their base, and so they did.
The following days, humans began ruling and living as a society again.. and curses went to their own secret lives among humans, yet too afraid to pull something at the fear of Kuroto Ryuzen, who was classified as a human who inherited the traits of the limitless clan despite his parents being completely normal.
