Violet
A small entry room welcomed us.
There were two strangely shaped cushioned chairs positioned near the wall on my left, along with two curved chairs facing each other in semi circles. There was a small table in between them with flowers arranged on it.
There was a closed door on the other wall to my right.
But I wasn't sure if I could call the wall facing us an actual wall.
Was it even a window either?
A glass pane stretched from the floor to the ceiling, and from one side to the other, concealed by a thin, see-through curtain that let in the sunlight. Through it, I could see the plants in what looked like a garden.
Rowan sighed and moved toward one of the chairs, dropping his bag beside it before sitting down heavily.
"I will sleep here. You can take the bedchamber." He glanced at the other door.
I turned to stare at him and my confusion deepened.
The room wasn't a room?
"When he said a room, I thought it would be... an actual room," I said slowly.
