When under the leadership of a tyrant, people were forced to do what they were told, or else they suffered unimaginable consequences.
Albert Slater was not a tyrant. In fact, once upon a time, the word had never even popped up when people were talking about him, especially his granddaughters. Back then he had been a doting grandfather with his son, and his daughter-in-law, having to be the ones to enforce the rules on the girls, while all that he had to do since he was not raising them, was to show up and spoil them rotten.
That had been a wonderful time. Albert getting to just be a loving grandfather and nothing else. But the world was not a fair place.
