Haley Slater was married to a man who could not get enough of her cooking. For other women that would have been praise of the highest order, but for her it was a nuisance. Though she did not have to eat leftovers, she actually enjoyed them.
Unfortunately for her, so did her husband, which was something that really bothered Haley. He had his own personal chef and the fridge was still being stocked with pre-prepared meals, meals that he barely touched anymore.
Why could he not go back to eating those and leave her leftovers alone? Haley wanted so badly to just ask him to leave her food alone. She already served him when she cooked. Why did he have to come back for more?
But doing such a thing would no doubt result in an argument. Knowing what was at stake, Haley Slater was completely against arguing with Deacon Roth. It would only cause problems for them instead of resolving things.
