3rd Person POV
The climate was pleasant and the sky looked beautiful but held a unique color which showed that it wasn't earth's sky.
The stars were shining on a mysterious purple sky and it illuminated the ground which showed a dense forest.
Under the illuminating light, a man could be seen running through the forest in desperation.
The man's face and clothes were covered in sweat and was running as if his life depended on it even though he looked out of breath.
Running without a break, the man reached a cave at the bottom of a mountain which was well hidden within the dense forest and not easy to find.
He didn't hesitate and ran inside the cave and when he reached the end of the cave a strong looking metallic door was present.
He reached to the right side of the door where a keypad was present and typed in a few numbers and the metal door opened and without wasting time he continued running inside.
The inside was filled with different equipments and looked like a science lab with advanced tech everywhere but it was empty without any people or scientists working.
The man rushed towards a room at the far end of the lab and opened the door while shouting
"Keath!!!, We are in trouble!!!"
Inside the room was another man with a beard dressed in a lab coat and was seated at a desk, with a few papers in his hand, reading.
Keath looked up from his papers with an annoyed expression and asked "What is it now, Hector?" he questioned
"The civil war between the devils has ended and the Anti-Satan Faction won. Many Heads of the Old Satan Faction were killed by Sirzechs Gremory and Ajuka Astaroth today. Now they must be raiding that old man's office for any information and it won't be long before they find out about this location." Hector said without taking a breath
"Fuck!!!" Keath cursed out loud and bit his nails with an anxious expression. He knew that trouble was on the way and he couldn't do anything other than run from here.
'If those two find this place all my effort will be lost and my death is also given. I need her body back to completely understand her last creation, but her body is with Hades because of that old fool's greed, Huhhhh..No use crying over it. It is better to survive today rather than risking it all'
"Should we try to contact someone else from the Old Satan Faction?" Hector asked with little hope
"No! We can't trust the Devils anymore. Both our lives and dreams are at stake now, our next move will determine if we can come out of this alive or not" Keath said while his mind worked on what to do next
"Then what should we do? We can't stay here, they will kill us." Hector said
Keath thought of a solid plan and took action "Without her body we can't proceed to the final part of my research so our only option is to strike a deal with Hades and get access to her body"
"Will he go for it?" Hector asked, his face filled with doubt and fear at the mention of Hades
"We have no other option left and don't forget, what we do hold is something special and it is something that would definitely interest Hades" Keath said confidently and handed a piece of paper to Hector.
"I will destroy all the data here and prepare to move the weapon out. We have to leave the Underworld and enter Hell without any trouble. The paper contains the communication info of a contact of mine. He is a rogue fallen angel called 'Wisp' who has the contacts to help us. Get in touch and tell my name. Ask him to help us find a safe way out of the Underworld and to enter Hell and his payment won't be an issue"
Hector nodded and rushed outside to contact the rough fallen angel. Keath also didn't waste time and started to erase all the data from the computers.
Next, he then moved to destroy the papers and files containing the details about his research and study of his subject's body and also about the secret weapon.
Hector came running back with a panicked expression and said "That Asshole said he won't do it unless we tell him our reason to visit Hell" Hector said angrily
"That piece of shit has the audacity. Screw him, we will find a way to do it ourselves!" Keath replied in anger
"But can we escape Sirzechs and Ajuka?" Hector asked full of doubt and fear on his face.
Keath also calmed down and was also thinking about it. He realized that without 'The Wisp's' help they were doomed and finally shook his head
'No matter what, we can't escape those super devils without any help and this fallen angel is my only contact that is still alive and can complete the job' Keath thought and finally said "Tell that Asshole that it involves something powerful and if he can safely get us into Hell and arrange a meeting with Hades, we will make him our partner and this endeavor will also help him increase his power to an ultimate class being"
Hector nodded and went outside to relay their answer and after a few minutes he came back with a hopeful smile and said "He is on board. He will be waiting at XXXXXX location. We will meet him there and he will take care of the rest"
"Good!" Keath replied both of them continued to destroy all the research materials.
After another hour, they rechecked if they destroyed all the data and now, both were walking towards another room hidden in the corner of the lab.
Keath entered the passcode and the door opened and inside was a small glass container filled with clear transparent liquid.
At the center of the liquid was a glossy black ball-like item floating and swimming within the container as if it was alive.
Both of them carefully transferred the item into a smaller glass container, picked it up, and placed it inside a shoulder bag which was reinforced inside to prevent unnecessary movement.
After securing it, both of them rushed to the meeting spot without looking back.
The journey that is going to decide their fate has just begun.
