Her finger traced gently along his cheek as she spoke, completely unaware of how he was now looking at her. "But I guess that difference is a bit too obvious. You've probably heard that from a lot of people."
Ivan's eyes widened for a brief moment; the surprise was clear on his face, but it quickly shifted into something else. His lips parted as if he were searching for words, taking a breath.
Then, without realizing it, he smiled. It wasn't a broad, easy smile, more like a quiet satisfaction that came from within, something he didn't feel the need to hide.
With Evelyn's finger still resting on his cheek, Ivan tilted his head ever so slightly; the gesture wasn't to pull away, but rather as if to allow the touch to remain.
"This might seem like something easy to tell apart…" he said. "But the people who can usually do it are our fans. We haven't heard this from anyone else but you. I don't know if Kian has, but I definitely haven't."
