Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord.

A long time ago, the manifestation of demons occurred.
The air split, shadows writhed,
and that which was sealed beneath the earth awoke.
The gates of hell opened,
and the covenant made by God broke like a rotten rope.
No one knew for certain what had caused it.
I do not understand if it was because the angels, tired of watching human arrogance,
allowed the demons to ascend to punish them…
or if, on the contrary, it was the demons who won the war.
I, being a mere animal, do not comprehend.
That's how it is.
Because the animal does not understand God's plans nor the grudges heaven holds against humans.
It does not understand why light sometimes wounds,
nor why goodness turns into punishment.
It only observes, feels, and remembers.
Long before everything began,
God, loving humanity, sent a friend.
A companion
made neither of light nor darkness,
but of loyalty and silence.
Yet that friend…
turned against its creator.
Not out of hatred or rebellion, but because it loved its second master: man, more.
And that act marked its condemnation.
For whoever loves too much the one who can betray you
ends up also part of their fall.
However… not all betray.
Some love until the very end.
