The day comes for Me and Eli to fly to California for my brother's wedding. We get on the jet Sarah got for me and take off.
"Holy shit Jay, how did you manage to pull this off"
"She's the one that offered, must still be feeling that dick I gave her"
"Well can't argue there, I'm still feeling it from that night we had last week"

"Besides we're already close to Ontario airport"
"So remind me what city we're going to again"
"it's not too far from the airport, Rancho Cucamonga. It's another rich city except people aren't as weird as the community we live in"
"So no murdering billionaire drug dealers?"
I laugh
"Naw just normal murdering drug dealers, but you gotta go to San Bernardino for that"
We finally land and walk through the airport looking until we finally find our ride, my brother Matt.
"Jay over here!!"
"Ayyyye what's up bruh"
We dap each other up and give a quick hug
"Who's this"
"Matt this is Elizabeth, but she likes to go by Eli. Eli this is my older brother Matt"
"Nice to meet you Eli"
"Nice to meet you too Matt, you and Jay look a lot alike"
"I think I'm the better looking one though"
"Yeah sure Jay we'll go with that, anyway let's get going everyone is waiting at the house"
"Everyone? Shiiit"
Eli looks at me
"What's wrong"
"Just be prepared"
"For what?"
"The shit talking… they try to embarrass us a little every time me or my brother brought a girl over"
"Yeah that's true, my fiancé can vouch for that"
"Ooohhh I can't wait, this is going to be fun"
"Ughhh Matt I hope there's Hennessy Imma need a drink to get through this"
"I got you bro"
Eli then whispers to me
"You are the better looking brother"
We sit next to each other on the drive, twenty minutes later we're at the house and I give a warning to Eli.
"Alright…. You ready because it's going to be a lot"
"Oh I'm definitely ready, they'll definitely like me after I throw some jokes your way too"
"Grrrreat…"
We walk in and my brother yells out
"Ayyye look who the fuck I found walking down Holt"
I walk in and everyone yells out, my mom runs up and hugs me tight
"I missed you Jay"
"I missed you too mom but damn you're crushing me"
"Oop sorry, and who's this pretty lady"
"This is my friend Elizabeth but she goes by Eli, Eli this is my mom"
"Nice to meet you ma'am"
"Nice to meet you too, you can call me Marissa, well Jay introduce her to the rest of the family."
I laugh nervously, great here we go
"Alright everyone this is Elizabeth but she likes to go by Eli. Eli this is my dad, my uncles, my grandparents and my sister"
"Hey nice to meet everyone"
Then it begins, first my uncle T calls out
"Holy fuck I thought you were gay!"
Then my uncle Chris starts
"What the fuck you doing with this guy!"
Then my dad
"You didn't kidnap her did you?"
Eli is just laughing her ass off then comes back and joins in
"Don't worry, paid me up front for the week"
Everyone starts laughing more and all I can do is just stand there and take it
"Matt!!! Where's the drinks"
"I got you right here"
I walk over to the counter and knock back two shots of Hennessy right away while I see Eli taking a seat at the table with everyone. My grandma finally says something after all the shit talking dies down.
"So Eli how did you and Jay meet?"
"Well he's the guard for the community I live in, so I seen him driving around in the patrol car his first day, well let's just say I caught him staring at me"
Everyone turns to look at me and almost everyone starts saying the same thing
"Ohhhhhh!!!!"
"Yeah Matt let me get another shot"
"Damn Jay, relax"
"Do you not see what's happening!!"
Eli continues
"Yeah but then I walk over to his booth and we start talking and getting to know each other, next thing you know we're hanging out and talking practically everyday."
My grandma smiles and says to her
"Awww that's sweet, how long have you been dating"
I choke on my drink and Eli laughs
"Oh no we're just friends, if anything I'm the one watching out for his ass and making sure he doesn't get in trouble"
"Alright Eli relax"
Then I see my grandma lean over and whisper something to her while everyone else starts up a conversation about the football season. I see Eli smile and she looks at me before saying something back to my grandma.
Later that night in my old room me and Eli are relaxing from a long day
"So what did my grandma say to you"
"What?"
"I seen her whisper something to you, what did she say"
Eli laughs a little
"She said I'm very beautiful"
"that's not all she said"
"Well she did say I was beautiful, but she also said that we would make a cute couple and that I'm the perfect girl for you"
"Oh god that's something my grandma would say… what did you say back"
"I told her thank you and she's sweet and I see where your grandson gets it from"
"That's it?"
"Yeah, actually just meeting your family, I can see why you are the way you are"
"Is that good or bad?"
"Very good, you're like my best friend and the only person that's treated me good in a long time"
"Awww well I try, now can we head to bed because we got a wedding to get ready for tomorrow"
