November 3rd, it's my 27th birthday and it's also my off day yet I'm stuck at home with nothing to do. my family is blowing up my phone with birthday messages and how they wish I was there to have a dinner with them but they're back in California and I'm here in Oregon working for a murdering drug lord that runs a nice little community. Then I get a text from Eli
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAY!!!!"
"Thank you Eli, I appreciate it"
"No problems, what's your address if you don't mind me asking"
"Oh why?"
"Just tell me"
I give her my address and she doesn't text back for awhile, then I hear my doorbell ring, I look through the peephole and see Eli standing there.
I open the door and she's standing there with balloons and a little cake, I can't help but smile and give her a hug.
"I know you probably don't want to be alone on your day so I'm here to make it better"
"Thank you, you're already making it better"
She walks in and sets every thing on the counter before turning to me.
"Alright go get dressed we have plans"
"What kind of plans?"
"Don't worry about it just go get ready and I'm talking decently not some shorts and a shirtl
"Alright alright I'll be back"
I throw on a black shirt with a jacket over it, some dark jeans, a pair of Jordans and a chain. I walk out and she looks in shock.
"Is this good enough?"
"Ummm yeah yeah, you look good"
"Thank you, I can dress up when I want to"
I see her staring me up and down and starts smiling
"Alright let's go"
We hop in her car and soon we're at a restaurant
"Damn this place looks fancy"
"Yeah it is, luckily for us i called ahead and placed a reservation"
"You had this planned?"
"Well duuh, you think I wasn't going to do something for your birthday"
"Hmm I don't know, I don't really expect much these days"
"Well it's time for a change"
We walk in and soon we're led to a table and given menus.
"Sooo have you been here before?"
"Yeah a couple times on dates"
"And how did those go"
"Well I'm still single so obviously it didn't go that far"
"Yeah I guess that's makes sense"
"Besides those guys were weenies anyways, they couldn't handle someone like me"
We both laugh
"Yeah I can see that a little, but I really appreciate you doing this for me, it been a while someones done something like this for me"
"No problem, you deserve it Jay you're a nice guy"
I can't help but smile at her
"I guess so, I mean I try to be… anyways what's good to eat here"
"Everything is pretty good here"
The waiter comes and takes our order, soon our food is out and we start eating and talking.
"Soooo on Halloween…"
She interrupts before I can finish
"Oh yeah, it was so good my legs were shaking all night"
"Oh damn really, that part was bomb but I was going to tell you something else"
"Ohh what?"
"So a delivery came in that night… and I followed it"
"No fucking way, what happened?"
"So it was at Williams house and I seen a guy taking in the packages, which has to be the drugs"
"And what else"
"That's pretty much it, I took off once the guy was inside for awhile after the last package"
"Wow how lame"
"I wasn't trying to get caught alright"
"That didn't stop you from fucking me in that house we broke into" as she winks at me
"Good point"
"So what now?"
"I don't know but I definitely want to keep looking into everything, we need to check all those houses on that list and maybe we find something they missed like some type of clues to what's happening there"
"Yeah let's just say we're 'looking for clues' in every house on that list, don't worry Jay I see what you're doing"
"First of all I'm serious, second of all… are you complaining"
"I definitely ain't"
As she runs her foot up my leg, giving me the same flirty look she always gives. We finish dinner and on the way out she hugs my arm on the way to the car
"So can I ask you a question" she says
"Yeah what's up"
"Can I spend the night at your place?"
"Ohh why?"
"Well it is your birthday and like I said earlier I don't think you should be alone and also because you already slept over at my place"
"Yeah true, I guess we can do that"
She drives us back to my place and before heading in grabs a bag from her trunk.
"You had this planned ahead didn't you"
"Fuck yeah, I knew you would say yes"
"Well You're pretty convincing"
We walk into the house and she goes into the bathroom to change, I head to my room getting undressed to just my underwear. She comes out in a night gown that barely covers her ass.
"Wow you look good in that"
"Thank you Jay, it's pretty comfortable"
She crawls into bed and lays next to me, laying her head on my chest while my hand is on her ass. We lay in my bed with the lights off
"Jay?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you ever see yourself being with anyone anytime soon?"
I think about that question and kinda get a feeling that Eli might be falling for me
"Hmmm if I find the right one sure, what about you?"
"Yeah I would say the same"
We both talk about random things until we both doze off.
