Byzantium later turning to be Constantinople--After the emperor Constantine made it the capital of byzantine. It's a glamourous city-Famous for its art, history and cuisine. The roles of men and women differed--Though unlike the western part of the world--Women had rights to own and earn--And men were to be in politics and some spiritual. The city is the fusion of Greek, Latin and roman--With their constant presence in the air--Latin was used in more formal settings were as Greek was used for daily conversations. They have places like the Hippodrome which is close to the colosseum and Taverns-Which are places for measuredly time-There-Foods such as bread, wine and even get women who were sold to dance for them.
