Volume 2, Chapter 9: Champions of the Primordials
The skies over the Renard Kingdom burned crimson.
From the fractured rift, Primordial champions poured into the mortal realm warriors older than the gods, each exuding an aura that could twist space and time. Mountains bent, forests vanished, and rivers froze mid-flow at their approach.
> "They've sent their best," the Witch of Creation whispered.
"And they come for more than observation… they aim to conquer."
The Vampire Queen flared, her crimson aura coiling around her like a storm.
> "Then we fight, and we make them remember balance."
The New Threats
Each champion bore power rivaling the Primordials themselves:
1. Xylar, the Void Reaver – a colossal being that could erase entire dimensions with a sweep of its blade.
2. Morvath, the Star Devourer – absorbed light and energy from planets, feeding off magic itself.
3. Talyra, the Time Weaver – could distort timelines locally, freezing armies or reversing attacks mid-strike.
4. Zeroth, the Gravity Tyrant – controlled gravity fields, crushing armies and bending terrain.
They descended upon mortal kingdoms, eager to test Absolute Atomic's limits.
> "Master… their presence…" Lyric whispered, eyes wide.
"It's… incomprehensible."
> "Then we must become incomprehensible too," Cael said calmly, aura flaring.
Multi-Dimensional Absolute Atomic
Cael stepped forward, shadows spiraling into infinite layers.
> "Absolute Atomic… Multi-Dimensional Form."
Atomic energy fractured into multiple planes at once. Every movement, every strike, and every block occurred simultaneously across countless realities. Even Talyra's time manipulation was nullified, as Cael existed in all her altered timelines at once.
The Vampire Queen moved alongside him, fully synchronized. Her crimson energy now phased through dimensions, striking from places that could not be perceived.
The Seven Shadows matched them, each extending their newly enhanced powers:
Liora: Dimensional blades slicing reality itself.
Riven: Absorbs multi-dimensional energy and redirects it with overwhelming force.
Selene: Sword strikes shatter temporal and spatial armor alike.
Kael: Warps zones, creating infinite loops that trap multiple enemies.
Tarya: Moves unseen through dimensional rifts, assassinating key targets.
Orin: Multiplies attacks with vampiric resonance across parallel realities.
Lyric: Controls energy currents across dimensions, redirecting attacks instantly.
The Clash of Titans
The largest champion, Xylar, swung his void blade, threatening to erase the entire battlefield.
Cael's shadows expanded infinitely. Atomic energy collided with Xylar's attack, shattering it into fragments across multiple planes.
The Vampire Queen's crimson torrent surged, slicing through Morvath as his devouring aura was absorbed and reversed against him.
Talyra twisted time to slow their attack but Kael warped space, negating her manipulation entirely.
Zeroth attempted to crush them with gravity but Riven absorbed the force and launched it back, sending him staggering.
> "This… cannot be!" the Primordial champions screamed.
"How… how can mortals and shadows wield such power?"
Synchronized Absolute Atomic Strike
Cael raised both hands, merging shadows and the Vampire Queen's crimson aura.
> "Absolute Atomic… Multi-Dimensional Infinity Strike."
A blinding surge erupted, slicing across dimensions, timelines, and realities simultaneously. The champions were shredded at every possible angle, simultaneously alive and defeated. The battlefield trembled, and reality itself shivered under the assault.
When the light faded, the champions were gone, retreating through the rift.
> "This is only the beginning," Cael murmured, aura still glowing faintly.
"They will regroup. They will escalate."
The Vampire Queen hovered beside him, crimson energy pulsating like a heartbeat.
> "Then we escalate first. They will learn fear before they learn arrogance."
The Seven Shadows knelt, their energy humming with multi-dimensional resonance.
> "Master… with you, we are unstoppable," Selene whispered.
> "Exactly," Cael said calmly. "Balance cannot be broken. And anyone who tries… will fall, no matter how ancient or powerful."
The rift above remained, faintly glowing, a reminder that the war against the Primordials had truly begun.
