Chapter 32 - Scouts of the Primordials

Volume 2, Chapter 7: Scouts of the Primordials

The sky above Renard Kingdom darkened unnaturally, though no storm approached.

From the rift above, shadows slithered downward scouts of the Primordials, beings of incomprehensible size and alien form. Their presence alone distorted space, their essence bending light and atomic particles around them.

> "They've arrived," the Witch of Creation whispered, her eyes wide.

"Not the Primordials themselves… yet. Just scouts."

The Vampire Queen's crimson aura flared.

> "Scouts or not, they will die tonight."

The First Wave

The scouts descended like living comets, their forms twisting reality as they moved. Each emitted an aura that could erase matter at a glance.

The Seven Shadows formed a defensive perimeter, their powers amplified by the Vampire Queen's energy. Atomic shadows coiled around them, pulsating with absolute resonance.

> "Master," Riven said, "their energy… it's older than gods. Even we can't fully read it."

> "Then don't read it," Cael replied, calm as ever. "Respond to it."

Absolute Atomic: Reality Warp

Cael's eyes glowed, shadows expanding like an infinite storm.

> "Absolute Atomic… Reality Warp," he murmured.

The ground beneath the scouts fractured as atomic shadows tore at the very fabric of existence. Each scout's attack was reversed and reflected before they could strike, their forms momentarily frozen in paradox.

The Vampire Queen moved alongside him, synchronizing her crimson energy with his atomic resonance.

Her new form was terrifying a full vampiric ascension, aura blazing like a living storm of blood and shadows.

Together, they struck in unison, blending shadow, blood, and atomic energy, forming strikes that could phase through dimensions.

Shadows of the Seven

The Seven Shadows surged forward:

Liora cut entire squads of scouts in one arc of her atomic blades.

Selene shattered their dimensional anchors, preventing them from teleporting away.

Kael warped overlapping zones, trapping multiple scouts in void loops.

Tarya eliminated key leaders unseen, moving faster than perception.

Riven absorbed attacks and redirected them, amplifying the Vampire Queen's strikes.

Orin multiplied attacks infused with her energy, overwhelming dozens simultaneously.

Lyric manipulated the battlefield's energy currents, redirecting magical strikes into the enemy itself.

The scouts fell one by one, but more poured from the rift.

> "They're endless," Lyric whispered.

> "No," Cael said calmly. "They are finite. Everything is finite… except Absolute Atomic."

The Clash

The largest scout, a creature of twisting galaxies and void, lunged at Cael. Its attack would have erased the landscape entirely.

Cael's aura flared.

> "I am Absolute Atomic."

In a single motion, reality itself bent. Atomic shadows expanded outward, striking the scout from infinite angles at once, phasing through its defenses while simultaneously collapsing its matter into raw energy.

The Vampire Queen unleashed a crimson torrent, synchronizing perfectly with his strike. The combined force created a resonance shockwave that shattered the rift itself, forcing the remaining scouts back.

> "Master… it's over," Riven gasped, shadows still humming.

> "For now," Cael replied. His aura dimmed slightly, shadows retracting. "But this was only the first wave."

The Vampire Queen hovered beside him, crimson energy slowly settling into a glowing calm.

> "Your Absolute Atomic… it is beyond anything I've felt," she said softly.

"Together, we are a force that cannot be challenged even by the Primordials themselves."

Cael's eyes scanned the horizon. Beyond the mountains, faint tremors signaled the arrival of larger forces.

> "Prepare," he said, calm as ever. "The Primordials themselves are coming next. And this time… the mortal world will be their battlefield."
