"We are gathered here in this conference room at the Pack Ten to discuss the atrocious events of this evening and how to preserve the threat this may bring to the community of wolves" The head Guard announced. " The interrogation and punishment of Alpha George and Luna Vivian will vary on the community vote. We must tread carefully as we enter these unprecedented times. Uncertainty and fear that lay on the path ahead and caution must be a priority. The future of the packs may be at risk."
"Before we begin, I must emphasize that the information discussed here is confidential and must only be revealed on a need to know basis. Please use your knowledge and discretion amongst your packs to only use the information to protect your packs and the ones we love. Now, lets get started" The head Guard nodded to a male in the corner and the lights dimmed and a smart board lit up in the front of the room.
"Here is what we know. According to the records of The Guard the event was organized and paid for by Alpha George of the Thunder Heart pack, Alpha Richard of the Crescent Creek pack, Alpha Adam of the Midnight Canyon pack. The event was to introduce and honor Lady Lenora Smith and her daughter Stacy Smith of the Bloodborne pack to reintroduce young Stacy into our community on her 18th birthday." the head Guard paused as the information settled to a heavy weight in the room. The Bloodborne pack vanished without a trace 19 years ago. It was a hard hit to the pack communities as The Bloodborne were diplomatic and trustworthy pack with an air of authority that commanded respect. The disappearance of the Bloodborne pack decimated the political alliances across the country. The head Guard cleared his throat to get the attention of the Alphas.
"Upon further investigation we have determined that Stacy Smith is actually the daughter of Alpha Edward and Luna Hazel Bloodmoon of the Bloodborne pack, DNA reports of determined that this is a fact. Stacy Smith is in fact Alpha Anastasia Bloodmoon." Colts head snapped up as the information stunned him and angered him all at once. He took a deep breath knowing that he had to calm his emotions before he lost control. He became stoic and nodded to the Head Guard to continue.
"As tonight's events brought before us many interesting facts and realizations, an important fact has come to light as well that will directly impact any discussions and solutions going forward. Alpha Anastasia Bloodmoon is the fated mate of Alpha Colton Myers." Colt felt all the eyes shift toward him. The air was heavy and thick with astonishment, confusions and so many unspoken feelings, it was suffocating Colt. He knew that this reaction was plausible and his regret of not involving himself in the pack diplomatic affairs of the present Alphas weighed on his mind. Colt steeled himself and spoke "Its true, I met her tonight right before I confronted Alpha George."
The words Colt spoke had more meaning to them than what it sounded. The other Alphas knew to analyze those few words, and they spoke volumes. Colt said he met her tonight, which confirmed that he did not know her before this evening, he also openly stated that he confronted his Alpha. In any other circumstances that would be a death sentence, no one confronted their Alpha and lived to talk about it. Lastly referring him to Alpha George and not father or dad signifies that any father-son bond was potentially non existent. The other Alpha's shared glances of unease at each other. They clearly underestimated Colt and a new founded respect for the young man was established.
The Head Guard spoke again. "Leaders before we continue with the facts of we must pause to address a matter of immediate importance. This is a picture of Alpha Anastasia and Lady Lenora. They are missing and we must find them immediately. The fate of the Bloodborne pack is at stake. Please assist us in locating Alpha Anastasia, DO NOT let your warriors be aware of who she truly is. We have reason to believe she doesn't know who or what she is based on the questions Alpha George asked Alpha Colton"
The group of men collectively concentrated as they made their mind links in commanding their units to assemble in the search for Stacy Smith. Alpha Teegan spoke first "The Lunar Peak pack has dispatched five warriors to aide in the search." One by one each Alpha spoke, The Crimson Shadow, Storm Ridge, Snow Valley, Mystic Winds, White Storm and Wild Fang packs all sent Warriors and Trackers to find Stacy. That was every Alpha present and Colts hope soared. They will find his mate.
The Head Guard acknowledged the Alphas " Thank you for aiding The Guard on this emergent situation" The Head Guard paused and began " Next we need to discuss the crimes of Alpha George and potentially Luna Vivian, Beta Abraham maybe implicated as well. Here are the facts of the situation. Alpha George colluded with Lady Lenora to not only sell, suppress, manipulate and abuse Alpha Anastasia. The crime of selling an Alpha is unprecedented. The crime of selling his son's and future Alpha Colton's mate is unprecedented. The crime of colluding with others to increase the success of his crimes is a punishment of exile. It is implicated that Alpha Richard of the Crescent Creek pack and Alpha Adam of the Midnight Canyon pack were assisting Alpha George. Camera footage shows that both Alphas and their groups left when Alpha Colton claimed Alpha Anastasia as his mate. They are currently being located so The Guard can extricate any information they may have to aid us."
" Do any Alphas present have any suggestions that may aid us in the decisions to be made?" the group of men were silent. This was serious and in the history of wolves in America this has never happened, this is uncharted territory. "Death" Alpha Asher broke the silence. Almost all the men agreed but Alpha Griffin spoke "No. We need more information."
"How much more information do you fucking need? Alpha George has betrayed wolve-kind to the point to where our packs-" Alpha Griffin raised is hand to quiet Alpha Asher. "Peace brother, I only meant that we need to know what Alpha George knows. We need to know of his machinations so we can make the best informed the decision to benefit all of our packs and to ensure that this level of betrayal isn't as deep and far spread as we fear".
"I've always been interested in the ways The Guard extricates information to protect our packs from traitors and rogues" Alpha Owen smirked at the Head Guard "Are you offering your assistance Alpha Owen?" The Head Guard responded with a sinister grin "Abso-fucking-lutely".
Alpha Jaxson cleared is throat "May I suggest that we strip Alpha George of his title and aura and immediately instate Alpha Colton? He already found his mate, we just need to locate her." The Head Guard nodded in approval. "Are there any objections?" No one spoke. "The matter is settled then, you are now officially appointed as Alpha Colton Myers of The Thunder Heart pack. Your ceremony will commence after the interrogations and his aura is dissolved. Name your Beta now. "
Without hesitation Colt stood up "I Alpha Colton Myers of the Thunder Heart pack accept my role as the Alpha. My Betas will be Charlie and Isaac Wilson, twin sons of Beta Abraham and Chelsea. Their dedication to the Thunder Heart pack is worthy of kings and their wisdom is admirable. The blood of Beta runs through their veins and their loyalty is unquestionable." The room nodded in approval, Colt will need all the help he can get. Colt cleared his throat "If there are no objections I would like to appoint Beta Isaac as my proxy in my stead so I can direct my attention of finding my mate. I would ask The Guard to assist Beta Isaac. In return The Guard will have full access to the pack house and George's electronics to aid in their investigation."
The room erupted in applause in approval. The Head Guard announced "It is done."
Alpha Alex who had not spoken a word during the meeting thought to himself "What a shit show, goddess knows what they will find they will find in the Thunder Heart pack house. Lenora and Julian fucked this up, George is bringing down everyone with him" then something occurred to him, Lenora and Julian were never mentioned.
