Ruby's POV
"Get lost, Ruby. Stop making a damn spectacle of yourself."
Stanley's venomous whisper hit me the instant I approached the stage.
I flashed him my most cutting smile. "You're terrified I'll expose you for the fraud you are. We both know whose brilliant mind created this project."
His complexion turned sickly pale.
"Enough of this nonsense!" Kate's piercing shriek echoed through the ballroom. She gestured wildly at the security team. "Remove this woman immediately! I refuse to let her sabotage my event!"
"Try it."
Justin's voice sliced through the tension like a blade of ice.
He positioned himself with arms folded, his steely gaze sweeping over the guards with unmistakable authority.
"I'm the one who determines whether this partnership moves forward. I demanded to hear Ruby's presentation, and that's exactly what's happening. Anyone who disagrees can get the hell out."
