The familiar surroundings of my living room felt surreal after everything that had just happened. The silence was a stark contrast to the chaotic roar of battle we'd just left. The plush couch groaned softly as I sank into it, with every muscle in my body screaming in protest.
Adrenaline was a cruel mistress—the crash left me feeling hollowed out and shaky.
Yoruichi claimed the armchair opposite, moving with that innate, fluid grace that made even exhaustion look like a practiced art form. She draped one leg over the armrest, a picture of casual elegance. "Well," she began, a lazy smirk touching her lips, "that was a hell of a trip. I'll take Azazel's teleportation over that purple nightmare any day."
"Agreed" I mumbled, dragging a hand down my face. My head was pounding. Just as I was about to suggest we both pass out for a week, the familiar, electric tingle sparked at the base of my skull. Three distinct pulses. The system wasn't going to let me rest just yet.
"Hey," I said, my voice a little less ragged. "I just received the rewards"
Her golden eyes, always so perceptive, sharpened with interest. She tilted her head, the playful smirk softening into genuine curiosity. "Rewards?! It almost slipped through my mind. Just take it, what're you waiting for?"
"Hold your horses, Yoruichi. I just don't get it dropped it in my arms at once" I interjected before she could grasp me by my collar "Have some patience, will ya?"
The first gacha ticket on the screen appeared in my vision.
[CONGRATULATIONS! RANK 9 GACHA TICKET ACQUIRED]

[ACTIVATING GACHA SYSTEM...]
"Rank 9 from Samael," I said, a tired but real smile pulling at my mouth. "Figured he'd be worth a lot."
The golden wheel spun and locked into place.

A river of knowledge—ancient, complex, and utterly profound—poured into my mind. The art of folding reality into metal, of convincing materials to perform miracles. It was breathtaking.
"Wow," I breathed out, the sheer scope of it momentarily overriding my fatigue. "This is... amazing!"
"That good?" she asked, her tone light but her eyes missing nothing.
"Better. It's a crafting skill. Top-tier. I can make things now on a whole different level." I left it at that. The 'divine' part could wait for a demonstration. She is more excited when I show it in person, instead of just telling her outright about it.
The second notification flashed up.
[CONGRATULATIONS! RANK 6 GACHA TICKET ACQUIRED]

The wheel, swirling with unstable purples and blacks, settled.
[REWARD ACQUIRED: PORTAL TO DEMON SLAYER WORLD]
[DESCRIPTION: A stable dimensional gateway to the world of Demon Slayers. Access legendary breathing techniques, meet the Hashira, and recruit allies who understand fighting supernatural threats.]
My breath hitched. A portal. Another One, A stable gateway to another reality. My eyes snapped to Yoruichi. She caught the shift in my expression instantly, her casual slouch straightening just a fraction.
"What is it?" The playful note was gone from her voice, replaced by careful neutrality.
"It's... a portal to other world," I said, choosing the word carefully. "To another world. A different one, not yours"
She uncoiled from the chair and stood up in one smooth, silent motion. The hope that flashed in her golden eyes was there and it was almost tough to see. "But, it's possible to get one for my world as well?" she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper. "Right?"
"It's possible" I had to be careful, to temper that hope with reality. "I can't make any promises, Yoruichi. But the wall between our worlds... it just got a lot thinner."
She didn't speak. She just gave a single, slow nod, her gaze intense and miles away. The look she finally settled on me was new—a deep, staggering mix of gratitude and a rekindled fire of purpose. The air between us changed, charged with a new, profound significance.
Then the third screen appeared, silvery and serene.
[CONGRATULATIONS! RANK 6 GACHA TICKET ACQUIRED]
[OPPONENT DEFEATED: CAO CAO - TRUE LONGINUS WIELDER]
[ACTIVATING GACHA SYSTEM...]
The wheel settled. This wasn't knowledge. It was a potential, a new sense waiting to be used. A switch I could flip.
[REWARD ACQUIRED: CHARISMA OF APHRODITE]
[DESCRIPTION: An activatable aura that exudes divine allure. Upon activation, it fosters intense attraction, overwhelming fascination, and primal lust in those around you, making them susceptible to your desires. Strength of effect scales with proximity and intent. This is not mind control but an amplification of existing emotions and biological impulses, lowering inhibitions and heightening arousal. Can be focused on a single target for heightened effect. Control requires conscious will.]
Voluntary. Good. A reckless, curious thought popped into my head. Just a little test. Just to see.
I looked at Yoruichi. She was still standing there, a beautiful statue carved from hope and renewed determination. I made a choice. I focused my will and gently pushed.
It was like stepping into sunlight after a long winter. A wave of palpable, honeyed warmth radiated from me. The air in the room grew heavy, intimate. I directed it all toward her.
The change was instantaneous and profound.
The hopeful determination on her face melted away, replaced by something far more sensual. Her pupils dilated into form of hearts, replacing the gold of her irises. A sharp, quiet gasp escaped her lips. Her entire posture shifted from thoughtful to predatory, her focus narrowing on me with an intensity that felt like a peak sensation.
"Another trick up your sleeve?" she asked, but her voice was all wrong—it was a low, husky purr that vibrated right through me.
I fed a little more intent into the aura, testing my limits of curiosity "You could say that," I replied, and my own voice came out deeper, more deliberate. "Mostly I'm just... really glad you were there today. I wouldn't have made it without you. You were amazing."
The effect was electric. A visible shiver ran through her. A soft, breathy sound, almost a moan, escaped her. Her gaze was no longer just looking at me; it was devouring me, tracing over my face, my neck, with a raw hunger that made my pulse spike.
"Keep talking like that," she breathed, taking a step closer. The space between us shortened gradually "A craftsman, a world-walker... and now you have this." She gestured between us, a wicked, knowing smile playing on her lips. "What's your secret, kid?"
The situation was escalating fast. Too fast. This was a weapon, not a toy, and I was waving it around someone who was quickly becoming a genuine ally—and maybe more.
This ain't right.
The priority was getting her home, not playing with her emotions like this.
I immediately shut the aura down. The heavy, sensual pressure in the room vanished, leaving behind the quiet hum of the refrigerator and her ragged breathing.
The spell was broken.
The hunger in Yoruichi's eyes flickered, replaced by a wave of confusion. She blinked, taking a half-step back as if suddenly realizing how close she'd gotten. A faint, bewildered frown creased her brow.
I cleared my throat, deliberately breaking the tense silence and steering us far away from the precipice I'd almost pushed us over.
"Well, Now that reward stuff is done." I pushed myself off the couch, stretching my arms "I'll cook you meals as an apology and promise for my earlier lack of communication. I'm a man of my word. Let's see what's in the kitchen that would serve your refined palate."
She stared at me for a second longer, the confusion in her gaze slowly giving way to her usual sharp amusement, though it was now tinged with a new, thoughtful curiosity.
She shook her head slightly, as if clearing it, and her signature smirk returned, though it seemed a less forced than before. "It better be good like bentos that you gave me. I've had a very trying day."
As I walked toward the kitchen, I let out a breath I didn't realize I'd been holding. That was stupid. Incredibly, dangerously stupid.
The power was potent, one wrong move and it would make me the villain in my own story if I wasn't careful. I had the means to build harem with just my aura. I bet Issei would trade his longinus for this power any day.
The real challenge wouldn't be mastering the power—it would be mastering myself.
