Ximena's Apartment
She sat on the couch in the sitting room with a bowl of popcorn in her hand . She was munching on it whilst scrolling through her phone .
All of a sudden , she hissed and dropped her phone.
She suddenly dropped the popcorn also as it had loose taste in her mouth.
She switched on the TV maybe she could see an ongoing drama to watch.
It came on and upon seeing the face of the man she hates with passion , she hissed and changed the channel.
While skipping through the channels , she suddenly remembered what had happened in the past.
ONE MONTH AGO
J.J Group of Companies.
Ximena walked side by side with the Middle-aged Ceo as she was his secretary.
They were heading into the office after a two hours meeting.
They got in and Ximena was about to leave when he called her back.
"Wait ,don't go ",He ordered.
"Sir , is there any problem?",She asked.
"Well no ",He replied.
"Then what sir ?",She asked.
Instead of replying , he stood up from his sit and stood in front of her.
She shifted back a bit noticing that but he still came forward.
In a spun of time he grabbed her by the waist trying to kiss her but she pushed him off with all her strength as he had a stronger grip.
"What's the meaning of this rubbish ?,Are you alright sir?",She questioned.
"No , you know what ?, ever since you came into this company, my heart started beating for you , I want us to be a thing , if you can , I promise to triple your salary , I hope you consider my offer ",He explained.
She looked at him in disbelief and she could not even process anything he said . "Feelings" , "how", they were never on the good side to begin with , he was always lashing out at her whether she did right or wrong , so what's going on ",she thought.
After trying to process everything she spoke up.
"With all due respect, I am totally disgusted by your act , I mean , you do have a wife at home together with two kids but you chose to have a thing with me , have you no shame? ",She asked.
He stood there dumbfounded , he didn't know what to say . All that went on in his mind was that a young girl ridiculed him .
As he was about speak , she spoke up.
"You know what , I can't stay in the same space with you and to think you embarrassed me in front of people numerous times , that's even enough for me , FYI , I'm resigning ,I'm no longer interested in this bullshit ",she said and dropped her resignation letter. She had planned to do that after today's work but he has given her a reason to resign early .
Immediately she walked out of the office leaving him dumbfounded.
Flashback
She shook off every of the thoughts away . She was still skipping through channels when a message popped on her phone.
"Babe , I'm going for shopping , care to join me ?",the message read.
"Sure,text me d location of where we are meeting",Ximena replied.
BILLS GROUP OF COMPANIES
One of the biggest , if not the biggest group of companies in Texas.
The Aura it has is enough to belittle other top companies.
It's the one that has the biggest revenue per year . It's not just Bills for nothing , it's because the money being made is not chicken change.
The Situation was so tense in the board room as there was a meeting going on .
At the edge was a young looking handsome Greek god sitting graceful , no need for anyone explaining who he is . He's the Ceo .
"So you're telling me now that it's best to partner with J.J group of companies , knowing how scandalous they are , find other companies , except from the ones we have contracts with , I'm looking for a fresh face who won't be greedy and gluttonous , check the list for the ones interested in this project and get back to me within now and tomorrow , the meeting ends here",he said and stood up , anger visible on his face .
He walked out immediately with his secretary trailing behind .
"Where are we heading to next ?",He asked.
"You have no more schedules today except for the kids ",his secretary , Kale said.
"Okay , I have to go home then , you take care of everything here together with the M.D ",He said.
"Uhm, he's not here today",Kale replied.
"Seriously, I guess I have to teach him a lesson ",he said and they headed to his office.
Perfect Wears Fashion Store
This is the biggest fashion store in the whole of Texas, popularly known for selling various brands of clothes and shoes including shoes and jewelries.
Ximena arrived there and entered .
She walked around trying to locate her bessie .
"Hey bess ",a high pitched voice called.
"Hey Viola ",Ximena replied and they both hugged each other.
"Are you ready ?",Viola asked.
"More than ready , let's go all in okay?",Ximena said .
"Sure",Viola replied.
After shopping for more than two hours they both came out.
"Wow that was pretty stressful and fun ",Ximena said breathing in the cool breeze .
"Aren't you starving?",Viola asked.
"I'm more than starving , what should we eat ?",She asked.
"How about we go to Royal's Dining ",Viola suggested and a bright smile spread across her face .
"Let's go ",Ximena said and they hailed a cab .
Bills Estate
The Bills family are also into real house estate and this one belonged to Nolan Bills.
His Car drove in through the giant gates and stopped in front of his house . He got down from the back seat and the car was driven to the garage which was situated at the back of the house.
He walked in and he was met by four looking adorable kids.
"Daddy",They all greeted .
He crouched to their level and hugged them at once .
"My Babies , How was your day ?",He asked .
"It was boring , Nanny Grace is not here only Noel , and he's the boring type ", Leon said and pouted.
"True , he only kept talking to his friends , nothing more ", Yasmine added.
"Where's he now ?",He asked.
"I saw him around the kitchen side like some minutes ago ",Jasmine replied .
"He's probably a starving dog ",Leo said and the kids laughed.
Nolan looked at them and sighed , not knowing what to say.
"Daddy , let's eat out,I'm hungry ",Leo said.
"I guess someone is a starving dog now ",Jasmine said and the others laughed .
"That's not fair , I'm not a dog ,I'm human",he said.
"Whatever",Jasmine said and rolled her eyes.
"You do know that if you didn't sack Grace , you'd have eaten by now but no , you did and know you're facing the consequences",Nolan said .
"It's not my fault that she's dirty and smelly ",Leo said.
"Okay fine , how about we go to Royals Dining ?, is that okay with you?",Nolan asked.
"Yes , super okay .....more than okay ",the kids said.
"Okay , go get dressed up and we are moving in the next Fifteen minutes",Nolan said and went upstairs with the kids trailing behind him and talking about all sort of things.
40 minutes Later
Royals Dining
The most popular restaurant in the whole of Texas . It's known for its rich taste and classic cuisines. It doesn't just focus on western dishes but also others like Asian , African and European dishes even Italian dishes.
Ximena and Viola stood in front of the restaurant gate . They looked at each other and nodded before entering inside.
Immediately they got in , they were met with attendants who showed them their reserved seat.
One thing about Royals Dining , you can't eat in if you don't have a reservation. Only if you want a take out , which means you're not eating in the restaurant.
They sat down and took the menu on the table scanning through.
"I'd have Penne pasta , Oysters and Gazpacho ",Ximena said.
"Same here ",Viola added.
"Okay , your order will be here in 5 minutes ",the waitress said and left .
An hour later , they were done with their food and were about to pay when an argument started at another side of the restaurant.
Ximena went there to see what was going on , only for her to see a young looking man and four kids facing a woman who seemed really angry.
She wanted to butt in but she needed to know what was going on , so she tried to listen to their convo .
"Hey young lady , you're obviously not a match for my father , and you look way to malnourished and poor , and to top it all , you're ugly just like my class teacher , no ....I mean more than my class teacher ", a boy said leaving Ximena dumbfounded.
"Who the hell is this boy?",she thought.
"How dare you talk to me in that manner and you can't even caution them ",she said referring to both father and son.
"And why should he do that when we are not in the wrong and you definitely are ? , look , you malnourished monkey , it's because we are in a public place that's why we are exchanging words with you if not you wouldn't like yourself at all . You came to our table , expecting I and my siblings to greet you and when we didn't do that , you proceeded to use your germs infested hand to touch our father as if that wasn't enough , you still wanted to kiss him , is that not a sign of shamelessness , what a whore ", Jasmine ranted which gave Ximena to step in as the staffs that were there were trying their best to solve the issue.
"Excuse me , please what's happening here ?, you guys are causing a distraction",Ximena said .
"Where did this thing come from?",Jasmine asked.
Ximena turned and looked at her , a smug smile appearing on her face.
"Young lady , I'm not like this idiot of a lady here who can't defend herself from whatever is going on , if you dare me , i won't just sit down and watch , I'm trying to solve your problem so that everyone can have a good time here and you guys can go your separate ways ",Ximena replied her with a smile which also had a glare.
Jasmine eyed her and hissed .
"I heard everything that happened and I wanna do you all a favor , First off , ma'am you're in the wrong , you don't walk into a place where you're not invited , second , you don't touch people anyhow , you can get sued for assault and third , you apologize when you're obviously in the wrong , that's all I have to say to you ",Ximena added.
"And you guys , First of all , I don't see anything wrong with what you did but I'm going to say what's on my mind. You little brats don't talk anyhow to people irrespective of who they are or what they are as you don't know a friend or a foe , and you , the father , learn to caution your kids , don't just keep mute when your kids are performing their wonders, if you know what I mean cause I know this is not the first time they insult someone like this and finally adult matters should be kept between adults and not children , I hope you understand",She said and was about to walk away when a tiny hand stopped her .
"What's your name , miss?",Yasmine asked.
Ximena looked at her and flashed her a smile before replying.
"Mena , Ximena ,that's my name",she replied and left .
