You ever die, wake up in Heaven, and realize the place kinda sucks? Yeah. That’s me. Name’s Leo Asheville — formerly human, part-time Grim Reaper, full-time victim of divine HR misconduct. Heaven wasn’t harps and halos, it was… paperwork, screaming souls, and angels with superiority complexes. You ever seen an angel commit tax fraud? I have. Anyway, I got promoted (or maybe demoted?) to Grim Reaper duty under this sketchy Archangel of Death who spoke like he was narrating a horror podcast. I did my job — cleaned up souls, erased names from existence — until I got too good at it. Turns out, Heaven doesn’t like it when one of their janitors becomes stronger than upper management. So they killed me. Again. Plot twist: I got reborn. Back on Earth. New body, rich family, world in chaos, cosmic rifts, monsters — you know, your standard Tuesday. Now I’m climbing back up.
