The next morning I woke up... I yawned and I looked into the mirror...next to me...I looked at my eyes with their beautiful dark lashes and I considered making my hair dark all through and getting rid of the golden ends... and I looked at my brows and smiled... I was beautiful...Eddie would trip I thought.
" Morning Ellie" Mia said to me.
" She's awake?... Hey I've set your outfit..you're wearing something girly so ... Edriel can know he's talking to a girl... A beautiful one actually..."
I chuckled...
I bathed first ...followed by Sissy then lastly Mia.
She let her hair down and combed it...and then she wore a black denim jumper with a black short sleeved top in it and then she wore...pink sneakers and a pink cap..turned to the back..
" Nice" I and Sissy said.
She dressed a bit like a guy but walked like a girly queen..it made her adorable.. It was no wonder guys loved Mia.
Sissy combed her butterscotch hair and wore a bow tie in it and a black armless crop top with a pair of black jeans and wore pink sneakers
She looked like a lovely flower in the field..ready to be picked and..she was looking sweet..no wonder the guys fell for Mia and Sissy.
Then they dressed me up...like a lady...they combed my hair and brought it down and then they gave me a black top with a single long off shoulder sleeve and then she gave me a short wrapper skirt that was tied at the side and then pink heels with silver diamonds put one after each other and then they gave me a pink beanie with a flower on top and it was tilted to the side...and then a pink purse to hold...they talked and argued while dressing me..I just watched...they put a pink lipstick on my lips and then they took me to a full length mirror and i looked at myself...I was a total transformation....I was swooned by the look of myself on the mirror...
I wondered if I was going to a party, it was supposed to be just a casual traveling day at the yacht...
" With this look and pretty face...stare at Eddie right in the eye and he'll look away" Sissy said.
" So let's go girls " Mia said and slung a pink designer cross bag over her shoulders...while Sissy wore a long chained pink bag...we went out if the room and our perfume traveled and announced our arrival because everyone looked before they saw us...we saw my mum and her twin.
They were shocked.
I felt, I don't know, embarrassed and shy...
" Oh my girls... Looking good today...who're you going to kill?" Aunt Beatrice asked
I blushed.
" Girls. They're always this way when a pretty boy is around " My mum said to her twin and they both laughed...
" Breakfast...there at the dining"
" Is the restaurant what you call a dining room?" Sissy asked.
" Its for posh girls...let's rock" Mia said smoothly.
We walked and when we entered the canteen...we owned every eye...if a person could take a photo of everything...they'd think we were celebrities.
But then, I guess we didn't overdress, every single there was dressed as though they were going to a party.
Oh, they were all dressed to impress
I sighted Edriel and the moment I saw him...he had taken his eyes away ...I only saw his head coming down...I went to sit with him...he was with friends...four chairs for a table...so we were Complete...while Mia and Sissy sat with Alex.
I wasn't familiar with him so I faced my biz...*back to biz" I thought.
" Good morning" I said.
" Good morning...looking nice" Ash replied.
" Why thank you.." I beamed.
" So...you tend to shy away from Edriel...any reasons?" We all looked at Drake.
" I don't shy away from him...if I did... I wouldn't be sitting right here and Staring. At. Him." I said stressing the words...Edriel looked up and our eyes met...I wanted to shift my eyes away just like I usually did but I remembered my beautiful reflection in the mirror and I had the confidence...Drake and Ash noticed the weird silence and stared at us.
It was kind of weird to keep staring directly into someone's eyes for so long but then I imagined what Sissy told me to imagine...to imagine that he was crushing on me and I was the one with the choice...maybe my expression changed because something in his eyes shifted...he was looking at me like he would a shy person earlier but now...his eyes held doubt...doubt like he knew the beautiful girl seated in front of him.
" Why the staring?" He asked and suddenly hit my head.
*I'm getting there* I thought.
" So...what are we doing in the wedding?" Edriel asked. " Sitting? "
" Assisting? Going in pairs" I said
" Well I'll make sure I go with that Blondie over there" Drake said pointing to Mia. And then he looked at me.
" She's single" I said
The guys exchanged looks with smiles.
" Should I introduce?" I asked.
" Nope...shy guys introduce... I'll walk up to her "
" Woah ...you sound like Mia's type..." I said..
" I'm every girl's type"
" You're sure? Because you're not mine" I said
" Oooh drake...you're not her type...her type is sitting down right here " Ash said in a cunny voice.
" Oh yeah"
" No...no! He's... He's my cousin" I said in defence.
" So who can't crush on a cousin"
" You don't even know if I've got a boyfriend" I said and Edriel looked up and our eyes met.
My eyes seemed to be saying
" You curious?" But I didn't even know if his eyes held a message.
We ate Pot Roast and Cobb Salad for breakfast and I was sipping my juice and I fixed my eyes on him while Drake and Ash were talking...he knew I was staring at him...because he kept on shifting uncomfortably...trying not to catch my eye and then I leaned in to him and he looked at me and immediately his eyes went upwards.
Mission successful...
