Andre's POV
I drove through the city streets like my life depended on it, my phone vibrating relentlessly against the dashboard. I knew exactly who was calling and what they wanted to discuss. The calls could wait.
The entire world had probably already erupted into chaos by now.
When I finally reached Caesar's Hotel Lodge, I didn't pause to catch my breath or compose myself. I headed straight for the elevator, riding it to the top floor. My fist pounded against the penthouse door with enough force to wake the dead. Before I could straighten my wrinkled shirt or run a hand through my disheveled hair, the door swung wide open.
Two sets of furious eyes bore into me with murderous intent. Caesar and Curtis stood there like guard dogs ready to tear me apart. I had anticipated their rage, but seeing it firsthand still made my blood boil.
"Andre, what the hell is wrong with you?" Caesar's voice erupted the moment the door slammed shut behind me.
