The Nine-Tails sulked in the sealed space, sprawled out in a gloomy, sewer-like environment, glaring at the iron gate that kept it locked up.
"Damn humans! Damn kid! Just wait until Lord Nine-Tails breaks free—I'll make you all pay!!!"
BOOM!
The Nine-Tails slammed into the cage, but it was pointless.
Then, out of nowhere, it froze.
The seal on Naruto Uzumaki… it's been opened?!
Ever since sensing the chakra of those two monsters—Hashirama and Madara—I haven't dared leak any of my chakra. If those freaks noticed me, they'd probably pin me down and pummel me again.
So, I've been completely out of the loop on what's happening outside…
I have no idea why Naruto's seal just got opened!
But this is Lord Nine-Tails' chance!!!
"HAHAHAHA! I'm finally gonna be free!!!"
The Nine-Tails unleashed its chakra, letting it seep through the cage and spread outward…

As its chakra reached the outside, the Nine-Tails let out a thunderous curse.
"Minato Namikaze?! Kushina Uzumaki?! And two—no, three evil Uchihas?!
And that weird kid's chakra I sensed a while back! All these people who should be dead are back in the world, and it's gotta be connected to that strange kid!
His chakra feels… oddly familiar. Almost like the Sage of the Six Paths…
Could that kid be a descendant of the old man?!"
Sensing the group outside, the Nine-Tails instantly yanked its chakra back and curled up in a corner, wrapping all nine tails around its head.
"What the hell is going on?! How are Minato and Kushina back too?! Damn it!! Am I doomed to never be free?!"
While the Nine-Tails roared in frustration within the sealed space, chakra began to gather outside the cage…
Minato Namikaze, Kushina Uzumaki, Fugaku Uchiha, Mikoto Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, Sakumo Hatake, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Hirofumi Ito, and Naruto Uzumaki all stood before the cage, staring at the Nine-Tails cowering in the corner.
Seeing Minato and Kushina, the Nine-Tails' rage boiled over.
BOOM!
It slammed its massive paws against the cage.
"Minato Namikaze! Kushina Uzumaki! You bastards sealed me inside a kid's body! Just wait until I'm free—I'll destroy the Hidden Leaf Village myself and wipe out every last one of those stupid humans!!!"
Minato flashed a sunny smile, but it wasn't warm at all—it felt downright chilling, at least to the Nine-Tails.
"Nine-Tails! Long time no see. I know you're itching to get out, but hold your horses! Is this really how you greet us after all these years?"
As he spoke, Minato casually stepped forward and opened the cage.
The Nine-Tails was dumbfounded. Did this guy just… unlock the gate?!
Wasn't he afraid I'd escape?!
It glanced around at the group, scheming again. If I make a break for it now, they probably can't stop me, right?
Its chakra started to stir…
But then it froze.
Two pairs of Mangekyō Sharingan locked onto it—Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha, staring it down. Behind Kushina, golden chains floated, and she had a look like she was ready to wrangle a fox.
As Minato opened the cage, two masses of chakra began to form on the gate. He recognized them instantly—his and Kushina's chakra, left behind long ago. They were meant to one day meet their son and act as a final safeguard for him.
Seeing the chakra start to take human shape, Minato quickly grabbed both masses. They weren't sentient, just programmed with messages they'd left for Naruto. Letting them play out now would be… awkward, to say the least.
Kushina's face flushed slightly—she'd left some sappy words for Naruto in her chakra too.
The cage door slowly creaked open…
Everyone stepped inside.
Naruto's eyes widened in disbelief. "Whoa! So this is the Nine-Tails?! It's so cool!!!"
