"Alumni reunion?" Ran asked, puzzled.
"Yes, my sister Suzuki Ayako's university reunion. I heard there will be lots of handsome guys, you have to come, Ran!" Suzuki Sonoko said excitedly over the phone.
[That woman, Sonoko...]
Conan was not amused that that woman, Sonoko, was tempting Ran.
"But, I..." Ran was not very convinced about going.
"Ran, are you going to look kindly on a bunch of college students getting this poor sick girl drunk? If something happened, what would I do?" Suzuki Sonoko said in a plaintive voice.
"But..." Ran looked at Heiji, and suddenly her beautiful eyes lit up with an idea: "Sonoko, I can go, but I'd like to bring two people with me, is that okay?"
"Sis Ran, I want to go too, I want to go too!"
Conan shouted from the sofa, feeling incredibly frustrated inside: "That girl, Ran! She ignored me completely!"

"Really? Thanks, Sonoko!"

"Yes, I understand."

Hearing the end-of-call tone, Ran smiled slightly.

"Time to eat!"
Kazuha came out wearing an apron, holding a plate: "Heiji, time to eat."

Heiji pulled along a guilty Kazuha and followed her, vowing to himself that he would never again in his life eat chicken cutlets.
