It was the evening, I had just finished my last few hours before leaving work. My driver drives me to the hospital, to meet my husband. I was excited, but showed no emotions.
I slowly opened the door [creak] there revealed my husband, staring out at the window. The moonlight illuminating his hospital room, he looks at me then smiled softly, world seemed to pause for a moment. But I regained composure and walked toward him, putting a safe distance. (what am I doing) I thought to myself.
"Jonseoung.." he grins at me softly. "How was work?" he smiles, it was obvious he was trying to start a conversation with me, but I only quickly changed the topic. "Your condition is getting better then expected, you'll be able to discharge from the hospital sooner or later." I said sternly. I noticed his slight smile.
"Oh..right, yes. I can't wait to go back home with you Jongseong, I wanna do so many thi-" Suddenly, I cut him off. "Wonbin, I have to go now. Visiting hours is almost over." I said sternly. "Huh?" he looked confused for a second, "Right.." his face flushed. "Y-yes..see you soon then.." I stared at him, then nodded before turning my heels as I left him alone with his thoughts in his room.
