Synopsis
Born under a celestial eclipse, Lucien Aurel Shurelle was prophesied to bridge the realms of light and darkness — a savior destined to restore balance to heaven and earth. Once the saint of the radiant Dawn Temple, he fell from grace when his divine power consumed everything he swore to protect. Branded as a heretic and haunted by guilt, Lucien vanished from the world — only to return years later, wielding both holy radiance and demonic shadow within the same soul. Now hunted by gods and desired by fate, Lucien walks a path no mortal should tread — the path between salvation and ruin. Bound by love, torn by destiny, and pursued by celestial forces, he must decide whether to defy the heavens for the women he cannot forget… or surrender his heart to ascend beyond mortality itself.

Chapter 1 - Eclipsed by the Heavens

Scene: When the Sun Bowed to the Shadow

The world trembled beneath a sky divided in two — one half burning gold, the other steeped in night. Lucien Aurel Shurelle stood upon the fractured altar of the Dawn Temple, the very place where divinity and betrayal first kissed his fate.

Wind howled through shattered spires as his silver-and-gold hair danced amidst embers. Beneath his feet, sacred runes flickered — a dying language of light struggling to remember its purpose.

The pendant at his chest glowed faintly, fractured yet defiant, much like the soul that bore it.

From across the ruined courtyard, a holy radiance broke through the mist. Seraphina D'Lioré approached, her robes glimmering like dawn over frost. "Lucien," she called, her voice trembling between faith and fear, "if you take one more step, the heavens will judge you beyond redemption."

He looked up — those amber eyes neither denying nor agreeing, only reflecting eternity's weight.

"I was judged long before this day," he said softly. "When the divine burned my world to purify it."

A ripple of dark laughter followed her sorrow. From the edge of the fallen sunwheel, Evelyn Rainehart appeared, her demonic wings half-folded, eyes glowing like molten amethyst. "Redemption is a lie, darling Saintess. But ruin—" she tilted her head with a teasing smile, "—that's freedom."

And then there was a third voice, quieter than dawn but sharper than a blade.

"Lucien…" Liora Valtis, the celestial guardian who once vowed to guard him with her life, spoke with a trembling heart. "If you keep walking this path, you'll lose everything — even yourself."

Lucien turned, gaze distant, sorrow eternal. "Perhaps that's the only way to find what remains of me."

The clouds above burst into conflagration — sun meeting shadow, light entwining dark. His aura flared; golden fire and black mist roared into being, forming a radiant eclipse around him.

Eclipsera, his celestial blade, answered his will with a resonant hum that spanned heaven and hell alike.

As he raised the weapon, a single tear — neither golden nor black — slipped down his face.

"Balance was never meant to be beautiful," he whispered. "Only necessary."

The sun bowed. The shadows knelt. And in that impossible harmony, Lucien Aurel Shurelle stepped beyond fate itself.

"When light and shadow converge, even the heavens must bow."
